Suspected sockpuppets


[1] has the same edit summary as [2]; User:Iloveyoooou has only edited articles that User:Karah kenze also edited; both are being disruptive, with a report at ANI and one at AN3 (which I didn't originally file). User:Karah kenze claims that they got "someone to help in the future". User:Iloveyoooou just tried to deny he's "that awful guy" on my talk page, using the very same kind of broken grammar as them. According to contributions timeline, User:Iloveyoooou took over User:Karah kenze between 22:56 and 23:03, and their edits haven't overlapped since. from LjL ( talk) 23:18, 25 October 2015 (UTC) reply

  • The editor is obviously also User:Amazing to you, who predates the other two, and was blocked for 48 hours on 15 October by NeilN: same suite of articles, same content of edits, same derogatory tone in the edit summaries.   • @ LjL: Wow, I wonder if I was the "someone to help in the future" that they were referring to. I attempted to help them learn how to edit tables in their sandbox with VisualEditor, since their ability to edit the source code was clearly lacking. Suspected sockpuppets

Pure inc "fixed" the Jay Ward Productions article to change the foundation date, remove the date it went defunct, change the years on Hoppity Hooper from 61-66 to 64-67 and blank all the General Mills stuff. At least some of this contradicts given sources.

  • Please note that the alleged sock is currently blocked (for disruptive editing) and may not be able to reply here if they want to. Is there a way to give them a chance to reply without unblocking them? I have no idea whether the socking allegation is true but I do note that Ksksksksks was editing well before Kenzie20 got blocked so this doesn't fit the most common socking pattern where a blocked user creates a sockpuppet when their first account gets blocked. Technically there's been no simultaneous use of these accounts. But I do believe this type of account-hopping is both deceptive & disruptive, given that they have been edit-warring over the same content using more than one account ( [5] [6] [7]) and claiming to be "friends" when this is clearly all just one person (compare "Clean Up." [8] [9] [10]), especially when the undisclosed past account had been warned/blocked before they made a new one (although if I'm wrong and it turns out this really is a group of friends, it still would be a violation of WP:MEAT, I think).
