Sulmuesi ( talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), who is the same user as Sulmues ( talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), was a highly active Albanian editor who had racked up a long log of block and sanctions due to disruptive behavior. He had expressed concern about this in the past [1]. Following a two week block and a six month 1RR restriction for edit-warring, he created two other accounts, Makaperqafe ( talk · contribs), which he declared was his, and PacioliKPMG ( talk · contribs), a sleeper account. Ostensibly he created Makaperqafe because he "lost" his password, but he also created the PacioliKPMG account. The point here is that deceptive sockpuppetry is not past this user. When his block expired, he resumed editing under the "Sulmuesi" account, which stopped editing abruptly and without warning on November 23 2010. He had been extremely active at that point (almost 500 edits/day). I believe Doktor Plumbi is a sock of Sulmues/Sulmuesi, created for the purpose of achieving his stated goal of a clean start and a clean block log. The evidence is as follows:
At this point is fairly obvious that Doktor Plumbi is not a new editor. Several users have expressed a concern that this may be the case [14] [15].
Sulmues was an experienced user, and he had moreover participated in several SPIs (mostly disruptively), so I would expect him to be familiar with covering his tracks IP-wise. He made sure to wait long enough so that his old CU logs would be stale. He hasn’t tried particularly hard to conceal his tracks behavior-wise, which leads me to suspect that he is pretty confident CU won’t catch him (the overwhelming majority of Sulmues' edits are between early morning North American EST and midnight North American EST, although given the insanely large number of edits, there are some edits at any time of day).
To sum up, it is fairly clear that Doktor Plumbi is a) not a new user, b) a returning Albanian user, and the behavioral evidence points pretty strongly that he is none other than Sulmues/Sulmuesi. Athenean ( talk) 05:33, 28 May 2011 (UTC)

I already told other users that I was an experienced user from the Albanian wikipedia, where I have created policies and brought to GA articles (as well as reviewed other articles). I was transparent, and have no problem admitting that I am an experienced user in wiki. I have explained to another user, Antidiskriminator ( [156]) that I had done few edits in the English Wikipedia (they were related to the ones with "Gjidede").
Alexikoua, are you a user in the Albanian Wikipedia? I don't see many edits of yours there ( [157]). For the record, my user name in the Albanian wiki was Sportishqiptar: with that nick, I have, among other, developed the WP:FIVEPILLARS in the Albanian wiki (See [158]), as well as developed other wiki policies, such as WP:NEUTRALITY in Albanian.
I don't know who Sulmues is and why he declared in the past what he declared to Alexikoua, and what that individual was watching and how he would "strike". I want to clarify in edit#12 that Alexikoua provided above, that I am explaining to Athenean that he is misinterpreting something said from Resnjari. I follow around Resnjari from day one, because he is working very hard for the Upper Reka article, where I have an ethnic interest. I believe that was done in the best interest of wiki, and assisted put a move request, as opposed to edit warring. For the record, Alexikoua says that was an edit-war. He must be referring to him and Athenean move-warring towards Resnjari. I did not participate in their activities but opened a move request, so that the move-warring from Athenean and Alexikoua ( [159] and [160], and [161]) would stop.
I am Albanian by ethnicity. Wouldn't any wikipedian do the same (promote articles to GA)? As far as experience with that, I already explained above, that I had plenty of practice in the past in the Albanian wiki.
If you read that edit of mine carefully (18), you will realize that it is exactly the opposite of what Alexikoua is saying: I want both co-reviewers to review, but separately from me as required by policies. I alswo regretted that Antidiskriminator would not want to do the review.
I have nominated to DYK only one article ( Xhamadani), something I expanded 5 times, and on which am working for GA status as well. This is not any evidence of me being like Sulmues. I don't know how many DYK articles Sulmues has done, but it seems, following Alexikoua's logic that if you are an Albanian, you need to not send anything to GA, because you may be like Sulmues. I can't understand why Alexikoua thinks that only Sulmues can send stuff to DYK: Everyone can!
I know that wiki has an email feature. It appears on every wiki user page. How come that is an "addiction" by the way? And in what way can Alexikoua assert that I'm addicted?
Editing on a prime minister, some of the most prominent artists of Albania, and the most spoken soccer match Albania has ever played is very normal for any Albanian: On the other hand Sulmues must have touched every single article on earth, since he had thousands of contributions. The article Çorape is in my watchlist as are all the folk costumes of Albania. I have already nominated Xhamadani, the traditional Albanian vest, but I have also started Xhubleta, the traditional Albanian gown. As a woman, I am interested in fashion, hope there is nothing wrong with that. I have edited Template:Folk_costume, where I have added the Albanian and Russian costumes. I also have contributions in Opinga, the Albanian folk shoe and Qeleshe, the folk hat. I don't see how Sulmues was particularly interested in folk clothing, which I am, as I see minor contributions from him in this area.
Well, good for Sulmues that he understood Italian. I don't, however I used google translate for the edit "greco di origine Albanese" is translated in English google translate as Greek of Albanian origin, and I even wished Marry Christmas to Alexikoua in his language ( [162]), again by using google translate. I hope that Alexikoua is a Christian, because it seems like he opened this SPI investigation as a reaction to that wish. Since he is a Greek I presumed so, but if Alexikoua is not a Christian, and/or he is not and has denied Christ, I apologize to him as well. I was still awaiting for a response from Alexikoua for my request at the Kone footballer [163], so I was following his contributions to see if he would answer me, but he ignored me at that article, and I saw that he, instead opened this SPI investigation. It seems like Sulmues was a really mean individual, and must have done a lot of harm to Wikipedia. I hope to not be associated with him.
What is the "additional evidence"? I already said above that Gjidede is my last name, and I used that account for the first time in the English wiki. To satisfy Alexikoua's curiosity, Gjidede is a typical last name in Vuno, where Spiro Koleka hails from. I hail from Vuno as well. My editing there was attracted by how an incorrect source is being used improperly by you to claim that Spiro Koleka was a Greek, and you were not accepting to compare that to other sources. Burridheut, a relative of Spiro, ended up being blocked because of your continuous activity and Alexikoua's stubbornness in failing to understand the flaws of the Pettifer source, which I pointed out. Answering to the last sentence (recently added by Alexikoua): Sulmues contributed for 20% of the article (by mere number of edits), and Alexikoua for 17%. According to Alexikoua's logic, if he had contributed a little more, say 21%, I should be ALEXIKOUA's sock!
This proves nothing, as football is the main pastime of all Albanians. The Serbia v Albania (UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying) game is an extremely known subject for all Albanians and soccer lovers in Europe, and the key match that brought Albania to Euro 2016. It seems like football is your pastime as well, since you have so many edits at Panagiotis Kone, but you are not being compared to other Greek users, which might be your own socks. MorenaReka ( talk) 18:26, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
Not sure why this would be an obsession for Athenean, but I was twice invited in a Dispute resolution board to give my opinion on the player, who according to dozens of sources has an Albanian ethnic background. Nothing wrong with making fixes in Wikipedia.

Sulmues is a prolific sockpuppeteer, with dozens of confirmed socks over 4-5 years now, as well as numerous throwaway accounts. He never really quit socking, and was still active as of July 2015. To someone familiar with Sulmues, this SPI quacks pretty loudly. In particular, the interest with Albanian football (soccer) and ethnic costumes, and especially the obsession with GAs and DYKs. MoReka also participates in discussions in obscure articles from day 1, which sulmues also did. For example, the Gjidede throwaway account, created solely for coming to the help of fellow Albanian editors in a discussion in an obscure article, is a classic Sulmues throwaway account. Furthermore, this "descendant of an African slave", as he claims on his userpage, exclusively edits articles about the relatively small and obscure nation of Albania, which is rather strange for a "descendant of an African slaves", since there are not too many of those in Albania. And now he claims to be from the small and obscure village of Vuno. Positively zero "descendants of African slaves" there, I am fairly certain. This sock also claims to be a woman, but this [164] ("being hysterical is a disease, and affect especially women, and as a woman, I am highly offended") makes me certain that this user is definitely NOT a woman, but rather a (male) idiot pretending to be one. Such idiocy is vintage Sulmues. Sulmues enjoyed assuming different identities and trying to take the wikipedia community for a ride, and this BS about being a "descendant of African slaves" and being a woman is very typical sulmues. Athenean ( talk) 07:15, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
A simple search on Athenean's talk page
[167] shows how he and User:Alexikoua are constantly engaged in tagging any new (Albanian) editors to Sulmuesi, this way early blocking or discouraging them. They even considered mine was a puppet account
[168], and Sulmuesi is constantly a topic of discussion for them. Not occasionally the nominator(s) have mentioned more than once "following us and waiting for the right moment to return", "he is always watching wikipedia and is ready to strike at any time", "Sulmues obsessively followed me around", etc., showing a mutual obsession.
Regarding what the nominator has presented as evidence, it is all circumstantial. I have personally edited articles as Ibrahim Bicakciu, Tefta Tashko-Koco,...etc that are listed by Alexikoua. Does that tell anything?
Also, regarding the
Italian language "knowledge", the diff
[169] that Alexikoua presented points to the phrase "greco di origine Albanese". It doesn't take much to understand that this means "Greek of Albanian origin". You don't need to really know Italian to find out what it means. Is this evidence that points to Sulmuesi, because Sulmuesi knew Italian? On the other side, what's the percentage of Albanians that speak or understand some Italian? You'd be surprised.
Another comment regarding this statement Not to mention that in Vuno article, a small village, where MorenaReka claims that he hails from, Sulmues is the main contributor. I would kindly request from administrators to check the article
Vuno, and count how many edits Alexikoua and Athenean have. Also the timeline shows that they have been fighting recently to push their changes, while Sulmuesi (as disruptive as he might be) is not seen since long ago. As a matter of fact, he was not the creator of the article, and not the main contributor. Just because Gjidede is surname native to Vuno does not not link those who bear that last name to Sulmuesi.
As far as the
Serbia v Albania (UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying) soccer match is concerned, I don't think there is any Albanian or Serbian who is not informed about what happened that night, or hasn't something to say, regardless of gender. The gender segregation comments are irrelevant: "...leaves no doubt that he had an interest in (male) soccer."... Male soccer is supposed to be watched from both genders, same for women's soccer, and that match was more a political show (we saw everything but soccer that night). She is being targeted 1. because of some minor edits she made in a (male) soccer event, and 2. because a disruptive editor named Sulmuesi "surprisingly" likes soccer.

:::Since my name has been mentioned in this discussion, i'll the add some words to the matter. As editor Mondiad has shown, the additional commentary here by editor Athenean is not the first time that a breach of wp:decorum has occurred. Recently in the talkpage of the article
Turco-Albanians, after i expressed some concerns and asked for further elaboration of content due to the sensitive and contentious subject matter of the topic, he unilaterally deleted my comments on the talkpage (with no reason)
[170]. After i reverted that change which placed the commentary back and asked him not to censor me, Athenean then referred to my commentary as "rants"
[171]. Now that said, in the above comments here apart from referring to the editor MorenaReka as an "idiot" which contravenes
wp:civil etiquette and is
wp:personal attacks, the issue of a person's gender and socio-cultural background is of no bearing to what makes a person. Wikipedia has very clear guidelines and states in its Non-discrimination policy
wp:NDP with legal considerations that "The Wikimedia Foundation prohibits discrimination against current or prospective users and employees on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected characteristics." Athenean should not resort to such commentary. MorenaReka has tags on her page that she has felt celebrate her values, mores and complex socio-cultural background. Albanians are of sizable numbers in the diaspora and some have intermarried with individuals from other socio-cultural and linguistic backgrounds. That should NOT form the basis of allegations and so on against other editors on Wikipedia as it contravenes
wp:harass. I ask editors to keep this in mind and with such problematic comments already said in this discussion (to say the least), i am very concerned that the neutrality of this matter has already been compromised.

The case made by Alexikoua is strong and the supporting evidence provided by Athenean looks convincing. The evidence of WP:QUACKING is undeniably here. No walls of text can obscure that fact. Based on the evidence a CU check will determine the existence of socks nevermind how big are the walls of text provided by the defence. So, please keep your statements to a reasonable length. Thank you. Dr. K. 05:04, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
1) Ktrimi's first edit was to respond to another Albanian user's request for help [172]. He then tells the user to email him [173]. On the second day he edits, he adds a ref using the cite book template [174]. Clearly this is the behavior of someone comfortable with wikipedia, and not a new user.
2) Ktrimi will claim that this is because he has been editing sq.wiki (Albanian) for a long time. However a look at his sq.wiki contribs shows only 10 edits in 2012, and only 50 till june 2016 [175], which is the same time the ktrimi account becomes active on en.wiki.
3) Sulmues' last confirmed sock, MorenaReka ( talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) claimed exactly the same defense at the last SPI for his familiarity with wikipedia. [176]. Yet the MorenaReka sock only had one edit in sq.wiki [177].
4) One of the MorenaReka sock's first moves was to tell other users to email him [178], probably so as to set up a tag team. Same with Ktrimi [179].
5) Sulmues and socks had this habit of serially welcoming new users using the "welcome template" [180] [181]. Same with Ktrimi [182].
6) Another major obsession of Sulmues and socks is moving pages to the "correct" Albanian spelling [183] [184] [185], often several pages in a row. Same with Ktrimi [186] [187] [188].
7) Sulmues and socks had an obsession with categories, adding, subtracting and renaming serially using HotCat [189] [190] (scroll to the bottom). Same with Ktrimi [191].
8) Editing similar articles, particularly those with an Albanian "national" focus, e.g. Albanian National Awakening [192].
9) The temporal pattern of Ktrimi [193] and Sulmues and socks [194] [195] [196] is virtually identical, indicating a location most likely on the US East Coast, and editing heavily during business hours. I know for a fact Sulmues is based out of the DC area.
10) Ktrimi appears to be following me around, which would be odd for a new user, but typical of Sulmues, who had many run-ins with me in the past. For example at Orlov revolt, when I got involved in a dispute with another Albanian user, Resnjari, Ktrimi shows up to revert me very quickly, even though he has never edited the article before.
11) Aggressive behavior, for which Sulmues was eventually banned, and which Ktrimi shows every sign of continuin (already blocked once). His page is a filled with warnings and fights with other users [197] [198].
I expect Sulmues' CU to be stale (the last sock, MorenaReka, was blocked a while back), but a CU would be useful to detect sleepers (a typical Sulmues move) and confirm location. Given the WP:LTA by Sulmues, it is also possible that a CUser might have stored the old CU logs. Alexikoua ( talk) 22:15, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims.
Everyone is Stale, and we're not doing a fishing expedition for "sleepers" based on a single account. CU declined.--
