User's edits are almost exclusively to the master's topic of interest. The account is new after the last sock was blocked. There is also a 'combative' attitude that is similar. Sportsfan 1234 ( talk) 00:39, 19 January 2018 (UTC)

Newly-created account with experienced editing skills making mass, successive edits to United States men's national basketball team ( | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), similar to pattern of past socks:
Recent edit at Template:United States men's national basketball team ( | talk | history | links | watch | logs) matches same distict color scheme used by Uiscfd earlier:

I'm assuming that Max Arosev is the sockmaster since one of the edits of Typerion is identical to Navratiti ( talk · contribs) who was marked as Max Arosev's sock - [4] [5].
Most of the edits of Typerion however are similar or identical to Editor45671 who has already been blocked for being a sock, see the following pairs of edits -
I assume that Editor45671 is one of the sock of Max Arosev, but I would apologize if he is not. If that is the case, then obviously then Typerion would be a sock of Editor45671. Hzh ( talk) 02:00, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Administrator note @ Bbb23: I see that you had checkuser blocked Editor45671 on July 2. Given that Typerion was created on June 30, is it safe to assume there was not enough technical evidence to link Typerion to Max Arosev?— Bagumba ( talk) 08:10, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
Quacking loud: All three were verbatim restoring content previously added by User:Typerion, a sock of Max Arosev. All three blocked (not tagged though), listed here for the record.-- Ymblanter ( talk) 11:52, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

The users display several similarities with Max Arosev's past socks, including removal of the word amateur from Russian amateur boxing pages ( [16] vs [17]), restoration of a photo added by previous sock User:Gumswick55 ( [18]) and a focus on doping and stripped sports medals regarding Russia/Soviet Union ( [19] vs. [20]) and the full removal of paragraphs on Olympic event results articles with no commentary ( [21] vs [22] vs. [23]). Meets Wikipedia:The duck test. May be worth flushing out other users with that IP. SFB 13:17, 12 April 2020 (UTC)

Another single-purpose account making similar edits on the same topics at the same time as known sock User:Kilope [24]. Not picked up in last sweep so possibly another IP? Also a further suspect IP here [25]. SFB 14:37, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

IP editor has made the same edits that other IP addresses (determined to be socks of User:Max Arosev) made to multiple articles in the recent past - Basketball at the 1988 Summer Olympics, 1988 United States men's Olympic basketball team, Basketball at the 1988 Summer Olympics – Men's tournament. Previous IPs were blocked for block evasion - see block log here. Additionally, after I reverted the edits and put a warning on the IPs talk page, he made this revert to a page I had recently edited, pretty clear he was just retaliating.
