Suspected sockpuppets

AlphaKGN and RoseRalph both have the hallmarks of paid editors, with their first edits showing a high degree of prior knowledge regarding WP editing. However, the reason for asking a SPI is the crossover on Draft:Jones–Tino and Draft:Daniel Levine (author) - there is no connection between the article subjects, and both have only had significant edits by the two accounts. Otherwise, very similar edit summaries between the two. Both are very unlikely to be the master, but I don't know what account that woudl be. Bilby ( talk) 07:26, 19 October 2018 (UTC) reply

  • Bilby - I'm currently looking at the contributions between the two accounts and the contributions made to both the draft articles you listed here. To help me with making direct comparisons, can you provide a few example diffs between both accounts where you see that their edit summaries are similar and exactly why (if not obvious)? Are there any other diffs that you can provide that will help me see direct similarities between the two? Thanks :-) ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 07:33, 19 October 2018 (UTC) reply
I just found one. I see that this edit by AlphaKGN and this edit by RoseRalph both have edit summaries that state "Expanded lead paragraph" - are there any more that you found? ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 07:36, 19 October 2018 (UTC) reply
I found another. This edit and this edit between the two users have a similar edit summary that state "Added image, improved links". ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 07:38, 19 October 2018 (UTC) reply

This is a yet another case of undisclosed paid editing and the suspected sock was registered a week after AlphaKGN ‎ was blocked. There are some behavioural similarities between NTfisher and AlphaKGN which I'm not feeling comfortable sharing here so requesting CU for technical evidence. Based on some outer-wiki evidence Basevoter belongs to the same paid sock farm and creating the same kind of promotional articles so requesting CU for technical help to see if they have more accounts. Chaimsash was registered two days back and made no edits outside editing draft created by Basevoter. GSS ( talk| c| em) 03:40, 20 December 2018 (UTC) reply

Further off-wiki evidence makes it extremely likely that Basevoter is a sock of this group, despite the ISP. Blocked and tagged. Yunshui  09:28, 21 December 2018 (UTC) reply

Given Wbrasp's timing and edits, I have aslo blocked them as a suspected sock. Yunshui  22:46, 28 December 2018 (UTC) reply
