Suspected sockpuppets

Campaign during the last couple of days to add links or refs to xclusivepop.com to several articles, especially Music of Nigeria, which has been hit by four of these accounts: Joseph adieche [1] [2], Desmond Afam [3], Mullar J [4],"Alexandro ben" [5]. Also:

  • "Alexandro ben": [6], [7]
  • "Juanita Kate": [8] (5 consecutive edits)
  • "Paulo andrew": [9]
  • Mullar J: [10], [11] (14 consecutive edits)

The Desmond Afam account is the oldest, created in September, with one edit in that month, which is among the edits referenced above. Most of the accounts were created in the last few days. Also, note the three accounts with double quotes in their names.

After having rolled back several of these edits, I ran an external link search, which is how I found "Paulo andrew". Having rolled that account's edit back, there are at this moment no further external links to that site, though there could be references.

"Alexandro ben" is already blocked for three edits of this nature.

I'm requesting CheckUser because of the sudden proliferation of these accounts. More could be hatching. Largoplazo ( talk) 18:27, 11 December 2020 (UTC) reply

Suspected sockpuppets

Created yet another user account to plead his case to three people's talk pages, including mine, for unblocking. I told him that if he wanted to request an unblock he had to do it on the talk page of one of his other accounts, and that the spam host in question would not be removed from the blacklist because, obviously, the reason he's asking for that is so he can keep spamming.
