User has been making disruptive and dubious edits to animation-related articles like List of Sailor Moon Crystal episodes, List of Winx Club characters, Winx Club (season 6) and The Legend of Korra (Book 3) by doing unexplained removal of sources for future episodes, unexplained removal of embedded notes, addition of unsourced future episodes and non-neutral language ( [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7]). The IP has also repeatedly blanked their talk page despite numerous warnings to stop ( [8], [9], [10]).

Also, the other IP has previously edited Korra (The Legend of Korra) as well ( [11], [12]) and also blanked their talk page as well ( [13], [14]). One of the IPs has already been blocked for disruptive editing, but I suspect that the other IPs are linked to the same person based on the evidence above and 108.48.144.42 is the oldest and has been around since September of last year. Is it possible to get a range block on this person? Lord Sjones23 ( talk - contributions) 04:29, 22 July 2014 (UTC) reply

  • Looks pretty ducky to me. Although the 207.255* IP doesn't have a lot of edits under its belt, they have some interesting interesections, and the fact that they all geolocate to Maryland is peculiar. Here's the editor interaction report (I miss Scottywong's version...) I also recognize Gaithersburg, Maryland from the "Disruptive, Destructive, Destroyer Vandal" or "Flowery, Embellished, Festooned editor" who was known for cluttering the article with absurd redundant speech like "she fell madly head over heels in love with him", "bodiless ghostly spirit", "The majorly main characters are the best and closest of friends named Maxwell Kane"--that sort of stuff. 108.48.144.42 - Gaithersburg, Maryland, 108.10.240.190, 108.48.85.180. If it's the same person, they were taken to ANI a couple of times. ( [15] [16]) They also liked to vandalize Pocahontas. Possibly a young woman, since most of their targets are girl-oriented (Winx, Korra, Pocahontas). And if I remember correctly, they didn't only vandalize. They made numerous useful contributions to grammar, only to pollute their contributions with nonsense that they couldn't be talked out of. Cyphoidbomb ( talk) 05:17, 22 July 2014 (UTC) reply

  • Given the IPs listed a range block isn't possible here, it's simply too large and most all of the IPs are stale. AIV may the best tool we have to deal with the disruption (per WP:RBI) as long as a link to the most recently blocked IP is included to show the block evasion. The edits are ducky enough that any admin should be able to block them. I know this isn't always the case and you may get pointed back here, however SPI is so backlogged it could take days for an admin to see it. If you get turned away at AIV you could always drop a note requesting a block on a trusted admin's talk page. -- Jezebel'sPonyo bons mots 23:27, 30 July 2014 (UTC) reply
