Regulations (2nd)

  • Code letter: B

Regulations ( talk · contribs) was blocked/banned as a sockpuppet of Billy Ego ( talk · contribs) following this ArbCom case. The Regulations account was a single-purpose account used to edit articles related to the Food and Drug Administration, from a libertarian/critical perspective. Following the block, Regulations has reappeared with multiple sockpuppets to continue a focus on the Criticism of the FDA page. Today, Sunger ( talk · contribs) appeared with this first edit, echoing Regulations' charges of POV-pushing and focusing on the Criticism of the FDA article. Suspect a sockpuppet of Regulations/Billy Ego being used to evade ArbCom-imposed ban. MastCell Talk 15:02, 8 May 2007 (UTC) reply

Please note that multiple legitimate authors have contributed to Criticism of the FDA, and there have been extensive discussions about how to address this topic in that page's Talk page. Please do not delete that page without discussing your reasons and giving a reasonable time for response. Thanks. - Rustavo Talk/ Contribs 23:52, 9 May 2007 (UTC) reply

The Regulations account was used to edit articles related to the Food and Drug Administration, from a libertarian/critical perspective. Following the block, User:Hardrack appeared; his/her first edit showed familiarity with Wikipedia; and s/he began editing at Talk:FDA from a perspective remarkably similar to that of User:Regulations ( [1], [2]). Strongly suspect that Hardrack is a sockpuppet of the banned accounts User:Billy Ego and User:Regulations being used for ban evasion. MastCell Talk 04:08, 1 May 2007 (UTC) reply

All of the above users have now been blocked, had {{sockpuppetcheckuser|Billy Ego|Regulations}} placed on their userpages, and been properly notified on their talk pages (I'm thorough/OCD like that). EVula // talk // // 15:55, 1 May 2007 (UTC) reply

You forgot this one and a hundred others. I live in a building with many students with an IP that is constantly in flux you bozos. I'm not a sockpuppet of Billy Ego but I am of Regulations. Billy Ego is apparently somebody in some other room or some other city in the same geographic region. I was wrongly blocked. Billy Ego said he was a fascist. I'm obviously the opposite of that..a libertarian. So why would I (Regulations) be a sockpuppet of Billy Ego? But of course you don't care. Do your mindless administration duties. But good luck finding the hundreds of other usernames coming from this region of the country and good luck finding the new username I will create immediately after you block this one. And good luck finding my other usernames I use in articles that you don't know to check since I edit new articles everyday. You are forcing people to create hundreds of sockpuppets to keep from being detected. Eventually Wikipedia will be all sockpuppets, if it's not already. Truent 16:46, 1 May 2007 (UTC) reply

Also blocked. Tagging Truent the same as the others; should we bother to do a proper CU? EVula // talk // // 17:16, 1 May 2007 (UTC) reply
