Guess what - they don't! Nobody is required to do any work around here. People are invited to participate, but it's entirely voluntary. Some people contribute in the form of making suggestions or
requests for new articles or, as in this case, improvements to existing articles. All such contributions are - or should be - welcome. I know you know this. --

Nothing in Wikipedia is intuitive or obvious to outsiders, newcomers or those who respond to an occasional article they just read (sometimes directed by an Internet search). When I first started contributing regularly, I still thought that an "editor" was someone with more authority than my own.

Rightly so, Wikipedia is not a forum, but I still wanted to write a few lines as a token of appreciation and gratitude. You have opened a discussion that I do not even deserve, at least I do not deserve all this attention. My thanks go out not so much for that, but for the spirit of collaboration and your generosity. I did not edit the Freddie Mercury page not out of shyness or fear of making changes, I am simply not very familiar with links, sources, etc., and rather than make a 'mess,' I ask for help from those more experienced than myself. But I'm sure I'll improve. Thanks again, ah, I forgot, shy and scared I was yes, even a bit lazy, but alas in my school days! :-) I extend a hug, see you guys and thanks again. — Preceding
