Does a search engine exist for critic reviews of films, albums, video games etc., including text search? Theskinnytypist ( talk) 04:58, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
The first episode of Chi Med, called "Derailed" had one patient whose story seemed to be a "haircut" or repeat with slight changes, of an episode of the old TV series Dr. Kildare (TV series), A boy, Jamie Dilson, with a dread respiratory disease, cystic fibrosis, comes into the hospital. An old doctor has been his friend since age eight. The boy does not want heroic measures (intubation in the new show) and is ready to die, since he has (treatable) pneumonia. The young doctor wants to do the horrible invasive treatment (intubation in the new show) to avoid sudden death. The old doctor asks how much time it would gain. A month, perhaps. The moral dilemma is allowing a youth to decide to end medical intervention and just die. In the new series, a lung transplant becomes a miraculous cure and there is happiness all around. I do not recall how the original episode ended. So what old episode does this new episode echo? The irony is the young doctor saying "They might find a cure soon!" just as in the episode from 50 or so years ago. Edison ( talk) 06:12, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
Is the dialogue in the film Maria Marten, or The Murder in the Red Barn in English or in French? I ask in relation to this edit. FreeKnowledgeCreator ( talk) 23:14, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
