Not mentioned or identified in the target article, leaving it unclear what does redirected supposed to refer to. In addition, this redirect was an article for about two months in 2007; however, it seems the information that is in the redirect's edit history may not be present anywhere on Wikipedia, nor may it be notable at all. • Delete not discussed in the target article and even if it was it's overly specific for this search term. The content in the page history doesn't appear to be at all useful as it consists of legal advice specific to the UK and I suspect it may have been copied from somewhere. Delete - there are 100s of locations in the world, and we don't need a redirect for each one of them. Also, it's not particularly intuitive, and rather country-specific. The only similar redirect I see is WP:ITNCLOC which is more generic. Nfitz ( talk) 18:26, 30 June 2023 (UTC) reply

  • Oppose deletion - the point of this particular redirect is to prevent people from having to copy and paste Please do not... Oppose an item solely because the event is only relating to a single country, or failing to relate to one. This applies to a high percentage of the content we post and is generally unproductive. every time someone makes the irrelevant complaint that a proposed blurb is only relevant to the US. This only seems to happen to US nominations, by people who apparently haven't seen that bullet point or otherwise ignore it, so the redirect is helpful. -- Rockstone Send me a message! 01:09, 1 July 2023 (UTC) reply
Keep - per Rocko above. Additionally, per WP:BEFORE, it's a little premature and crass to RFD this while the discussion is still ongoing. - Knightoftheswords ( Talk · Contribs) 02:42, 1 July 2023 (UTC) reply
Wow - talk about a complete failure of AFG by User:Knightoftheswords281! I had no idea there was any discussions going on at the time I created the RFD - as you can see from my edit history. And even if I was - why one would have two different links to the same thing; and why link one country and not 200. Can I suggest an apology for the over-the-top AFG failure. You literally commented in the section. In fact, not only did you comment in it, you even voted. How the hell did you not know? Additionally, the reason why ITNCUSA exists in particular is because the USA is the only country that regularly has stories from it opposed on ITN solely due being from that country. - Knightoftheswords ( Talk · Contribs) 23:04, 1 July 2023 (UTC) reply

Delete - While the Irish Genocide redirect is similarly questionable on WP:NPOV, I can't find any (reliable) sources referring to the Famine as a "holocaust" and it's almost certainly an unlikely search time. estar8806 ( talk) 02:05, 30 June 2023 (UTC) reply

  • Keep - well used term. All you have to do is search for the term "holocaust" in the article, where reliable sources can be seen. See also Irish Holocaust. This is a WP:BEFORE failure - perhaps User:Estar8806 could remove it. If the term was some kind of retronym, I could see the concern (though would still remain notable) - but this use long predates the 20th century - and was in used in the English media during the Famine - for example see this 1847 newspaper article from the Newcastle Guardian.
