Please do not... Oppose an item solely because the event is only relating to a single country, or failing to relate to one. This applies to a high percentage of the content we post and is generally unproductive.
every time someone makes the irrelevant complaint that a proposed blurb is only relevant to the US. Additionally, the reason why ITNCUSA exists in particular is because the USA is the only country that regularly has stories from it opposed on ITN solely due being from that country. -

This is a WP:BEFORE failure - perhaps User:Estar8806 could remove it. If the term was some kind of retronym, I could see the concern (though would still remain notable) - but this use long predates the 20th century - and was in used in the English media during the Famine - for example see this 1847 newspaper article from the Newcastle Guardian.
