These two redirects should not point to different articles, but I don't currently have any opinion about which is better.

Agreed, per
Bsherr. I don't see the value in keeping
Buddhism and Rulership though, as I find it unlikely that someone would search for rulership in capitals.--Farang Rak Tham(Talk) 19:50, 3 September 2018 (UTC)reply
Retarget to
Buddhist kingship as "Buddhist kingship" seems to be more common (
[1][2][3]) while fulfilling the aspects of this redirect. --

Disambiguate per Thryduulf. Barring that, I think the best alternative actually would be a soft redirect to
wikt:rulership. --

I also agree that we should disambiguate things.

Disambiguate, I guess, even though we really are skirting dictionary territory here. I've drafted a basic dab below the redirect, please let's not turn that into an index of government-related articles. –
Uanfala (talk) 15:45, 11 September 2018 (UTC)reply
Well, the draft is out there for anyone to expand.
List of forms of government as far as I can tell is simply an ancilliary article to
Government (which already has a dab entry) and I can't see why we should include it or any other government-related article. As for
Domicile (astrology), well, I don't know anything about the topic area, but all I can see is that this article doesn't mention "rulership" as a synonym, and
the dictionary I used defines the astrological meaning of "rulership" as "Influence or dominance of a planet (or other celestial object) over a person, period, etc.", which is a somewhat different, and much broader, notion that the one that the article is about; the dab entry provides a brief definion and a link to
Astrology – rulership as defined is pretty much its essence – though of course this link can be replaced if a more specific article is found (I didn't looked very hard). –

Global rank throws up 78 results in a WP search notably
GRANK which is the Global rank which exists since 2006. Might be better to create a DAB

Keep per
WP:FORRED - this is the native name for the institution as given in the very first sentence of the article.

Soft redirect to
wikt:Jap's eye, or, failing that, keep. I don't think the term absolutely needs to be mentioned in the target for a redirect like this to be worthwhile: we can trust, in most cases, that someone who has searched for this is capable of understanding that the article they've reached is about the same thing that the colloquial term refers to. What such a redirect doesn't do, however, is provide the important contextual information that the Wiktionary entry contains in addition to the definition (i.e. that the term is British, slang, vulgar and offensive). It's plausible that the hypothetical reader is quite often specifically looking for that information, and likely that they'll benefit from it even if they're not. –

Soft redirect per Arms & Hearts. The contextual information at Wiktionary is more useful than what we can provide here. If they are looking for encyclopaedic information about the anatomical structure, I've added a link to our article from the Wiktionary entry.
