Delete, there are too many things wrong with this redirect to be useful as a search term. For one, all albums are proper names, so the F in Friday should be capitalized. There should be a space between Friday and (album), and "album" is not a proper noun so it shouldn't be capitalized. That's three strikes against it, so it should be out. -- Tavix ( talk) 22:10, 7 December 2015 (UTC) reply

When a page is moved, the attribution history moves with it, so there's nothing that needs to be "preserved." The history of that page is now at Black Friday (Indian Ocean album), not this redirect. -- Tavix ( talk) 15:11, 8 December 2015 (UTC) reply

Ok, cool - Google says it means "The Golden" now. However Gilded translates to Dorado as well. Gilded is gold plated. Pretty sure the term has always referred to chunks of Gold, not a little gold as in gilded. Legacypac ( talk) 13:53, 7 December 2015 (UTC) reply

Neelix took this section "The origin of the name Tlemcen (Berber and Algerian Arabic: Tlemsan) is uncertain, but the word has a Berber structure. One theory traces the name to the Berber words Tala Imsan which means "the dry spring" to create the redirect. I bet there are plenty of dry springs in the world, and no one expects to get this city when they search for "dry spring" Legacypac ( talk) 09:26, 7 December 2015 (UTC) reply

Middle+Family name redirect by Neelix. Not useful and could easily refer to someone else. Legacypac ( talk) 09:13, 7 December 2015 (UTC) reply

For a Hispanic individual, the 2nd part of the full name is not a middle name: it's the father's surname; the 3rd part of the name is the mother's surname. See [WP:Spanish naming customs]]. As that article says "ften, the practice is to use one given name and the first surname only," This redirect is therefore not useful, but a redirect from Rafael Carlos would be. Even if this individual does not use the conventional Spanish system, people might still reasonably look for him as if her did.

Full name is "João Henrique Pataco Tomás" according to article. A whole bunch of partial name mix and matches, this time to a football player. By Neelix Legacypac ( talk) 08:12, 7 December 2015 (UTC) reply

He's Portugese, so Portuguese name is relevant in this case the same as the Spanish : we need a redirect from Joah Pateco and the corresponding form with diacritics, , neither of which we have. None of the ones here seem useful. (FWIW, the ptWP has no redirects from alternate forms.) DGG ( talk ) 18:54, 7 December 2015 (UTC) reply
(I'm Portuguese) delete'em all No one knows him for anything else other than João Tomás, I guess that is why there are no redirects at ptWP. DGG, Why would we need such a strange redirect as "Joah Pateco"? Joah? It is not Portuguese, nor any English form of João that I had ever met (you meant Joao, maybe?) Why Pateco? The name is Pataco ('a', not 'e') and virtually no one will look for either anyway, and the search engine should get them there just fine. - Nabla ( talk) 23:29, 7 December 2015 (UTC) PS: "Joao Tomas" could be a redirect, if the search engine care for the differences a/ã and á/a - Nabla ( talk) 23:30, 7 December 2015 (UTC) reply
I well understand that's the only name her uses, but someone may not know that. My typing is careless, even in English. Sorry,. DGG ( talk ) 00:39, 8 December
DGG, So, when your said "Joah Pateco" you meant... "Joao Tomas"? "Joao Pataco"? It is hard to guess this way.
I don't know what "João Tomás" (and his family and friends) call him. May as well be Pataco, because it is somewhat fun and surely uncommon, but that is irrelevant and guessing. But I doubt anyone will look for anything other than "João Tomás"/"Joao Tomas" because that is what you'll find on most match reports and goal scorer lists (some may have more names, I guess) - Nabla ( talk) 11:02, 11 December 2015 (UTC) reply

umm DGG said they are all useless, along with the next Portuguese speaking user - so this vote makes no sense. Can you clarify. Legacypac ( talk) 11:57, 8 December 2015 (UTC) reply
Loss of the accents should be kept because {{ R without diacritics}} due to the fact that this is English Wikipedia, and people are only expected to have English-language keyboards. The misapplication of accents (missing one or the other) should be kept for the same reason, since accents are foreign to English, so application of them will be spotty. The Portuguese name reasoning shows the double-barreled surnames, so keeping both for a redirect. If dropping one, then dropping the other of the pair of surnames should appear as a redirect. -- 70.51.44.60 ( talk) 04:52, 9 December 2015 (UTC) reply

One theory traces the name to the Berber words Tala Imsan which means "the dry spring" to create the redirect.
