The Wikipedia Bangalore meetup is a monthly get-together of wikipedians (contributors and users) to meet up, discuss, share experiences, reach out and advocate for Wikipedia and Wikimedia. Bangalore Wiki community is entering 2 years of regular monthly meetups as the first Bangalore meetup was started on July 2009.
As discussed in the Bangalore Meetup 3 in July, Wikipedians in Bangalore (Bangapedians) will meet up every month on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday at 3 PM. The meetups are intended to be structured as follows —Introductions, a few focused talks by Wikipedians to share experience / expertise followed by demos and open discussions on topics of common interest.

The 35th Bangalore Wiki meetup was held on 10July2011 at CIS, Bangalore. This was the 2nd year celebration of Bangalore Community meetups.
It was attended by 14 Wikipedians.
The main agendas for this meetup were:
Shiju introduced the project to the audience and described about the main goal of the project, how may literary, cultural and living customs and important aspects of humanity could be cited with the lively "Oral citations". There was a 45 mins video shown to the audience to explain the whole project and its outcome. The details of the project can be accessed at http://strategy.wikimedia.org/wiki/Oral_citations
