Another user has tried to use transclusion to take the player records from the
NZ football team article and have them appear under the Individual records on
NZ football statistics article. They didn't complete it correctly and I can't figure out why it isn't working either. They did do a start and end section using "Player records NZL" has the label. Just to note, there is also a template already called New Zealand national football team too that I'm not sure if that is causing issues with this too? But can someone please help fix. — NZFC(talk)(cont)00:21, 14 September 2022 (UTC)reply
I had added a source to this page
Nadia Ali (actress) claiming she was American which was reverted by TylerBurden. Here's the website
[2]. I just want to know if there's any misunderstanding here of reverting my good faith edit.

Rejoy2003: As TB explained in his edit summary the 'source' does not specifically mention citizenship which is a legal 'principle' and not necessarily where resident or upbringing. The article states she is American and of Pakistani origin but her actual citizenship is not clear.

Rejoy2003 Rejoy, you really need to carefully read
WP:BLP. Your request for a permission was declined by an administrator because of your insistence on adding that she is an American citizen, which demonstrated that you either don't care or don't understand this important concept (that and your ″jokes″). Like was explained to you last time and like Eagleash just explained above, citizenship is a different matter than simply being called American because you live there. If you can find a reliable source clearly stating that she obtained American citizenship, you're more than welcome to add it. Otherwise it seems the only misunderstanding here is your understanding of
WP:BLP.

TylerBurden Dragging out my failed permission for a role is completely irrelevant. I understood what Eagleash said, I just had my queries. If you're bringing about my rejection, I can even drag out you being blocked like what 4 times by admins? Whereas I've got an impeccable record with blocks or anything. I'd suggest you to stay on the topic and don't bring about things done and said ages back.

@
Rejoy2003 It is not irrelevant since it was specifically mentioned as a reason for declining your request, at some point you need to drop the stick and accept you can't make every edit you want to make. I'd say the situation is quite clear, you need to respect the
WP:BLP policy. It's one intentional block by the way.

TylerBurden I'm here not to talk about my rejection, it was a simple general "query" I asked about my edits back in early September. Half of what you said is completely irrelevant, I didn't come here to ask for a role. This is a helpdesk page not a permissions page where you can talk about my past permission requests, Last but not the least I never said I don't respect BLP, if I was I'd be blocked for substandard edits.

Rejoy2003 You do realize that "early September" was 13 days ago right? I'm very aware of what this page is, and I hope you got the help you were looking for. Because you've been told the exact same thing I told you back in early September. You have not made the same BLP violating edit since, which is good because that source is simply not acceptable for a claim of a living persons citizenship. That's all I've got to say here.

TylerBurden if you had said this instead of all these earlier replies it'd had sound professional. And yes I do know "Early" September is 13 days ago that's like on 1st September hence I used the word early I mean, duh.

I am a librarian trying to add documentation of our branches. I would would like to include our website for added provenance and discoverability. As we are a public library service, I do not feel this is conflict with wikipedia's policy, but would like to check before adding this information.

Blaze, I don't want to argue, but I feel you are confused. In no way is creating pages dedicated to historic libraries a form of soapboxing. Discoverability is the process or enhancement of discovering information, something that Wikipedia is obviously made to do.

Peclibrary Have to agree with Blaze Wolf. Wikipedia is not a place to merely document the existence of something or post a link to a website. This is a place to summarize independent
reliable sources. I've posted some information about your username and conflict of interest on your user talk page, please review it.

Peclibrary, where are you intending to add this link? An external link to a notable organization's website can certainly be included in an article on that organization, either in the infobox, an external links section or both; however, your organization's notability has not been established, and it seems that no article currently exists. Please see
WP:NOTABILITY for further information about Wikipedia's inclusion criteria.
