Could you rotate this 180° and upload under a new filename? Since the stamp is known as the "Inverted Swan", I'd like to be able to illustrate the article with an image where the swan's upside down and the frame's correct, but this image has it the other way around. Of course, since they can't both be right, neither is better than the other per se; that's why I want it to be uploaded separately.

Internet Archive account, you can "borrow" the book there, but the image resolution seems basically identical to the imgur picture. I can't see any more details.) Furthermore, if you look at
the imgur picture you can already see the grain of the printing pattern, so there is a danger that even with the physical book in hand, there isn't much more detail on the printed page in the first place. Looking at the fine detail in some of the flags (which just looks like smushes on imgur) I think we need at least twice the resolution to discern what that detail really is, and I doubt the printed page has this fine a print resolution. Again, I don't want to dissuade you from going forward, just a warning: The physical book might not actually be much better than the image we have. --

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can create the flag of the recently reactivated American 11th Airborne Division. Right now the 11th Airborne is the only active US Army division without a flag on Wikipedia, and it seems that the author of all the other flags has become inactive. I've had no luck looking for this file online or in any of the US Army's official websites. The flag should be 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide, the emblem should be 15 inches tall. Thank you!

CactiStaccingCrane: I went through all our orthographic SVG maps, and these are the best-fitting for each ocean. With a little recoloring, these could be used. I don't know if you consider them good enough, but I think they are the best we have. Please also consider that the PNG files you originally posted have very unusual projections, they show more than a hemisphere, which seems counter-intuitive to me. All the SVG files here posted are orthographic, i.e. they are an approximation of how you would see the earth from space. --

https://www.worldmapgenerator.com/en/licence/ if they would be willing to make an exception for Wikimedia. Or you could ask the people at
Wikipedia:WikiProject_Maps, if they know more than I do (most certainly they do). --

Swiãtopôłk: Hey, I don't think it's a lot of work. However, two (and a half) questions:
As far as I can see all of the arms have a circular shadow they cast on the 'ground' (see ), but some, perhaps most (see ) have a second shadow they cast on the 'back wall', a grey shape to the right of the arms. Of course, there is neither a ground nor a back wall, but I don't know how to distinguish them otherwise. Do you want just the 'ground' shadow removed or the 'back wall' shadow as well?
Do you want the existing files changed, or do you want new files uploaded, so there is a shadow and a non-shadow version?
Two of these files are not like the others: shows two arms, while has a crown. Should they be treated differently or the same as the others?
I can't promise I will do this today, but I am pretty sure I will make it some time later during the week. Unless someone else is quicker, of course. :-) cheers! --

@
Swiãtopôłk, I am sorry, but I have to retract my offer. I looked at the Coats of Arms in a bit more detail, and basically all of them (except ) are just very low quality (likely automatic) vector traces of low-quality JPGs (all of them less than 400px wide). I really wouldn't want to duplicate these before fixing their original problem, that is their being very low quality traces. I can - if desired - recreate all 26 of them, but this means actually re-drawing most of them, mostly by hand, and is thus a much bigger task, or in your original words: It is a lot of work. Again, I am willing to do it, but I can't commit to it right now. Apologies for getting your hopes up. If you are interested in me redoing all of them, please write here, I will come back to you (but can not say at this moment when that will be.) Again, I am sorry. --

The seal is with a flower at the end of the circular text, and there are also arabesques below the circle. Also the ones forming the circle (depicted as small circles in current svg but not actual circles) also need improvement to become more similar to the actual seal. The seal is from the reign of Thibaw so it is in public domain and thus the svg can be the same as the original as possible. --

Flag of the US 11th Airborne Division
Emblem of the 11th Airborne Division
Flag of the 11th Airborne Division in the background
Hi, I was wondering if anyone can create the flag of the recently reactivated American 11th Airborne Division. Right now the 11th Airborne is the only active US Army division without a flag on Wikipedia, and it seems that the author of all the other flags has become inactive. I've had no luck looking for this file online or in any of the US Army's official websites. The flag should be 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide, the emblem should be 15 inches tall. Thank you!

For anyone using sensible measurements, this is 914mm x 1219mm, with an 381mm emblem.

The emblem height includes the airborne tab but not the Arctic tab it seems.

SVG maps of oceans

Arctic Ocean
Southern Ocean (desired output format)
Request
I want to create SVG maps of the oceans just like in the
Southern Ocean, but I have lots of trouble trying to figure out how could they make these globes in the first place. Can somebody here help me on this? --
CactiStaccingCrane (

Hey,
CactiStaccingCrane, I guess you are looking for
SVG locator maps of continents? The Southern Ocean map you provided () is a modification of
File:Location_Antarctica.svg(), which is one of these SVG locator maps. If I misunderstood you or you have further questions, feel free to ping me with {{u|Lommes}}. Cheers! --

Lommes Yeah, that's exactly what I've been looking for. However, it seems that the dataset and software is currently offline and there is very little if none instructions. How exactly did they make this map, and how could I make one for myself too?

CactiStaccingCrane: I can not give you any information about the "Online Map Creator, et al" used to create these in the first place. I am sorry. I guess you can't modify the existing ones because all are centered on continents instead of oceans? I am sorry I couldn't help you any further... Cheers!--

Pacific Ocean (Locator map for Fiji)

Southern Ocean (centered on South Pole)
CactiStaccingCrane: I went through all our orthographic SVG maps, and these are the best-fitting for each ocean. With a little recoloring, these could be used. I don't know if you consider them good enough, but I think they are the best we have. Please also consider that the PNG files you originally posted have very unusual projections, they show more than a hemisphere, which seems counter-intuitive to me. All the SVG files here posted are orthographic, i.e. they are an approximation of how you would see the earth from space. --

I also found
https://www.worldmapgenerator.com/en/ which is - in principle - capable of creating these maps from scratch (I made one of the Indian Ocean for testing purposes), but the license used is incompatible with Wikimedia Commons (they use CC-BY-NC-SA). You could, if you want, contact the creators at
https://www.worldmapgenerator.com/en/licence/ if they would be willing to make an exception for Wikimedia.

:-) cheers! --

Lommes Also remove the second shadow. Upload new versions of files. These two others should not be treated differently. Thank you for taking care of this, as for time, of course, no rush.

User1042: Great job! Although is there any chance you could make a few alterations to the current file, to bring it more into line with the banners from the links, such as:
1) Making the straps on top blue instead of black?
2) Adding the second gold border around the blue field?
3) Altering the three lines so that the tops of them aren't melded together, and that the far edges of them don't overlap with the surrounding frame?

User1042: Brilliant! Just one more thing before I close this request though... there appear to be thin horizontal lines underneath the fifth dots from the top on both sides of the banner. Any chance of fixing those?

User1042: Yes, sorry, it is rather hard to see. You'd need to zoom in on the parts of the banner in question very slowly (the lines only seem to appear when you've zoomed in on a certain range, but once you get closer they seem to vanish again).
Snow Lion Fenian (

It seems to only appear on certain browsers and only in SVG form. I cannot fix it in spite of working on it from multiple angles.

User1042: It's okay, I just checked it again there now, and the lines don't seem to be appearing anymore, so whatever you've done seems to have worked nicely. And thanks once again for all your hard work throughout this request. Much obliged.

As you can see, all of these can be created by placing the shield from the Diocesan coats of arms in the canton of the English flag template provided above. Thanks.
