Unfortunately, that discussion didn't pick up on the fact that not all the articles in the category are actually about African-American people: Amadou Diallo was from Guinea and only arrived in the U.S. in his 20s; Ousmane Zongo was Burkinabé; Abdul Razak Ali Artan was Somali; there may be others besides. As such, following Bibliomaniac15's suggestion, this deserves reconsideration, though, while I've suggested renaming to the original title, Oculi has pointed out that that doesn't eliminate the problem insofar as the category, under either name, is in the parent category Category:African-American people (though see also my response on that point). My concern was in part that there'd be some who were neither African-American nor African (for example, African-Canadian or Black British people killed by U.S. cops) who wouldn't fit in either category, but that doesn't seem to be the case. –
