This unlicensed radio station never had a license and it fails
WP:BCAST and probably the
WP:GNG. However, it has a bit more content than I'd normally PROD for. Sourcing that would be extremely valuable to make a quality page does not exist online, unfortunately.

Keep: For one, this is the station that Howard Stern began his career. Also, the information contained within would not belong on the page of Boston University’s licensed station WBUR-FM as they have taken different paths since their respective foundings (WBUR-FM is an N.P.R. affiliate with a staff whereas WTBU-AM-FM are college stations in the traditional sense). WTBU has been an important training ground to media students going to B.U. over the years.

Weak Keep - Trim the page to include information only in the sources included -OR- add sources for the information on the page. Either way, I think it's worthy of inclusion, just needs more sources. -

Keep: Per
Stereorock and
Neutralhomer. Same thoughts for
KANM that the page should be moved to WTBU (college radio) or WTBU (Boston). Unlike KANM, the article is good enough to be kept. It only needs some clean-up, primary sources should be removed and it needs some more secondary sources. ASTIG😎(

Here are some sources indicating that Howard Stern began his career in WTBU:

Comment: Yes, Stern starting his career at the station is notable, and the New York Times did report on the station beginning webcasting (one of several stations they discussed in the article). The other coverage I have found of the station in reliable sources independent of the subject relate to a fire in its studios. However, this is not enough to warrant an article separate from the school. The encyclopedic content related to the station could easily be added to
Boston University or
Boston University College of Communication's article, but as it stands, the content in
WTBU (radio station) is not really suitable for merging. It is plagued with original research and tone issues, and most of the sources cited in the article are either the school or station's website or do not support content actually related to the station. Furthermore, its current title is not suitable as a redirect, because "(radio station)" is an incomplete disambiguation, as there is another, actually licensed, station that holds the call sign WTBU.--

If kept, I'm moving the page to
WTBU (Boston University) to address the title issue as it is an untenable title.
