- Delete - WP:NEQUESTRIAN fails to mention polo. If someone plays professionally and played for their national team, I would think they meets the criteria for athlete notability. However, I can find no evidence of him playing for this club or playing for England. —Мандичка YO 😜 02:27, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
Keep: other users have cited the example that polo is not mentioned under the WP:NEQUESTRIAN thread. I would suggest that this is a failing on the part of Wikipedia, because it should include the challenging sport of polo in this section. Sebastian Johns, according to the information given on the page, has accomplished a great deal in this field, and as such he warrants a wikipedia article. Socks is a general insult; it is not incriminating that this is the first article that people edit. There are, as it appears, several editors who have contributed to the page, and the sources are adequate and clear. This is not a perfect article. I would like to see more sources, and I believe it reads too much like a biography. - I would be happy to change to keep if there were any evidence he played for the England team or is a professional polo player. He is not mentioned at all on the club page. Please provide some evidence. Thank you. —Мандичка YO 😜 09:30, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
- Delete. I can find no mention of a Sebastian Johns playing for the Guards Polo Club. There is a Sebastian Johns who is indeed a musician and has presumably recently left Abingdon School, where this Sebastian Johns claims to have been educated, so I suspect the article may be a hoax and he's actually a recent schoolboy with pretensions. -- Necrothesp ( talk) 14:07, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
