WP:SOLDIER. Like Moses Chamberlain below, to whom he is related, being an officer in the American Revolution (and never being taken prisoner) is insufficient.

WP:BIO, despite interesting write up in the
Vermont Gazetteer, I'm not finding anything else on him but lineages and other mentions of the Hazen incident, but being associated with Hazen does not confer notability, which is not
inherited. (He might make for a footnote in the Hazen article.) My ancestor served under Hazen as well. That and about $35 bucks will buy me a DAR membership, but that doesn't make him notable either.
