- Keep. While NFOOTY may not be met, a BEFORE search returns several sources which indicate that
WP:GNG and
WP:ANYBIO are met. In terms of:
- WP:ANYBIO #1 ("well-known and significant award or honor"), the subject appears to have been selected on the PFAI Team of the Year and Player of the Year awards more than once. ( INM/ RTÉ/ RTÉ)
- WP:ANYBIO #2 ("recognised contribution that is part of the enduring historical record in specific field"), the "longevity" of the subject's contributions to a field (top-flight Irish football) seems to have been recognised in several outlets. (eg: Guardian)
- WP:GNG (significant coverage), the subject appears to have been the primary topic of a number of pieces in otherwise reliable sources. Not exactly dozens and dozens of examples. But several returned after a quick search. (eg: Journal/ Examiner)

- Comment I withdraw my nomination. Guliolopez and Giant are right, he does meet GNG with those sources. For whatever reason I didn't find them, perhaps I didn't search hard enough.
