Fails WP:GNG . 8 of the 11 sources are actually primarily about another ambassador position and completely lacking third party sources. LibStar ( talk) 23:52, 5 October 2021 (UTC) reply

  • Hi all, I am a significant contributor to this Page. As you might expect, I think the Page should not be deleted, and I believe the content is notable, but would perhaps be open to it if the page's content could be hosted elsewhere on Wikipedia. Clare. ( talk) 01:57, 6 October 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Comment. Since most of these high commissioners actually represented Australia to multiple Caribbean countries, maybe there should be a list under a heading of "List of Australian High Commissioners to Caribbean countries" with a list of which countries the commissioner represented Australia in? It doesn't say much for Australia-Jamaica relations that Australia chooses to locate its ambassador not in the most populous Commonwealth country in the Caribbean, but in a different country with less than half Jamaica's population. -- Metropolitan90 (talk) 04:16, 6 October 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Redirect to Australian High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago, as the information is essentially already duplicated there. Meticulo ( talk) 12:24, 6 October 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Comment I agree with Metropolitan90. I think that making a list page for Caribbean ambassadors makes more sense than just redirecting to a different country. FiddleheadLady ( talk) 19:49, 6 October 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Comment. It's not merely "a different country". The High Commissioner in Trinidad and Tobago IS effectively the Australian diplomatic representative for the Caribbean. See this DFAT page which says: "The Australian High Commission is accredited to Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, The Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago. The High Commission is also responsible for providing consular assistance in Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dutch Leeward Antilles (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao), Dutch Leeward Islands (Sint Maarten, Saba, Sint Eustatius), French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Montserrat, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin, and Turks and Caicos Islands". • Comment My original statement stands then. There should be one page for the Caribbean ambassador rather than a page for each country- particularly if they are all the same person. There is no reason to associate it to a single country. FiddleheadLady ( talk) 13:37, 13 October 2021 (UTC) reply

  • Comment A redirect to Trinidad and Tobago is inappropriate since these were resident High Commissioners between 1975-1994. Regards, -- Goldsztajn ( talk) 04:40, 20 October 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Redirect Utterly unconvinced by the "GNG" argument for a List article backed by government press releases and standard press coverage. That said, it is the same position as Australian High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago - the residency of the High Commissioner to various countries in the Caribbean has moved but it is a single position.
