- Delete I've found two articles that seem to point toward non-notability: Sports Illustrated and Tuscaloosa News, both review that the athlete's mother came to visit on Senior Day last year. Both articles talk about the emotion of the moment of his mother who was serving in the US Army overseas showing up on a surprise visit. I'm sure it was a really neat moment. And not worthy of inclusion in this encyclopedia. That info would be a nice addition to an article on the subject, but is not in my opinion basis for inclusion for passing WP:GNG and really does fit the mold of an "and finally..." news article type described in WP:ROUTINE. If other articles surface pointing to a notability measure, I'd be happy to switch position.-- Paul McDonald ( talk) 02:04, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
- Delete. Erekosima is a backup, non-scholarship player for Alabama who appears to have never played a down. As noted above by Paul, the coverage of Erekosima appears to be limited to the Senior Day incident in which his mother was given leave from military service to make a surprise visit with her son.
