Not notable golf course. Article reads like an advertisement. ...William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 16:53, 21 July 2019 (UTC) reply

  • Delete/Rename. There are very few articles on specific courses; normally articles are on the "club" which has the course. It's true that we do have Old Course at St Andrews but it is a rare exception. As such Faldo Course should be part of an article called Lough Erne Resort. This resort has "two Championship Golf Courses; the awarding winning Faldo Course and Castle Hume Golf Course and Golf Academy with state of the art facilities." ( https://www.lougherneresort.com/) Lough Erne Resort hosted the 39th G8 summit, a significant event. From a golfing point of view it hosted the Lough Erne Challenge in 2009 and 2010 but these were just exhibition matches, not a real tournament. As it stands the article is not suitable for renaming and, since it contains so little content, we could just delete it. Nigej ( talk) 08:36, 22 July 2019 (UTC) reply
I should perhaps note that the course was due to host the 2017 Irish Open (golf) but the European Tour moved it to a different venue, wanting a "links" type course. ( https://www.bbc.com/sport/golf/36013767) Nigej ( talk) 10:05, 22 July 2019 (UTC) reply
