Erik Wetzel

Erik Wetzel (  | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – ( View log · Stats)
(Find sources:  Google ( books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL)

Does not meet notability criteria. No indication that he ever was a professional baseball player -- there is an Erik Wetzel that played in the minor leagues (see [1]) but the birth date is different. Claims of winning an award are unsubstantiated. The only mention I could find was on the web page of the awarding organization, which, according to WHOIS, was registered by Erik Wetzel.

I am also adding Worldwide Media Management (  | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), the company run by Erik Wetzel. ... discospinster talk 01:35, 12 April 2014 (UTC) reply

  • Delete. Page is blatant self promotion as Mr. Wetzel himself was the author of it. He did [2] play baseball at West Florida, but that isnt notable nor is his business career. Spanneraol ( talk) 04:58, 12 April 2014 (UTC) reply

  • Delete - there appears to be an Erik Wetzel that played at Fresno State University, but again, the birthdate does not match. Conduct from the user indicates it is a self-promotional article, and seeing as no reliable sources are available, there is no reason to keep, and significant reason to delete.
