The result was keep. Despite the distressing weakness of a number of the keep !votes (indeed, of the five, only two actually make valid arguments), it's obvious that notability is established enough that
a snowball has a better chance in Hades than of this being deleted.

Keep. British High Commissioner in Trans-caucasia is a notable post. He was also awarded the
CIE, which is a notable honour (it has generally been held that anyone with a CBE or higher is notable enough for an article). However, it should be renamed
Claude Stokes, since he's the only one here. --

Comment. Please note that articles under discussion in AfDs shouldn't really be moved until the AfD is completed. This article has now been moved twice during the AfD. This is why I said it should be moved but didn't move it myself. --
