Keep as notable. I found at least a couple references that he is considered notable in the poetry world, adding a couple of awards that were considered notable by a Korean newspaper and a mention in passing in The New Yorker (this last not enough to establish notability, but a verification to support the Korean reference that he has notability outside Korea, not that he needs that to be notable outside Korea for Wikipedia; Korean culture is sufficiently notable on its own). Someone who reads Korean would likely be able to find more references. And I only found a couple places with odd wording, which somebody who can translate Korean can probably clean up.
