Vahdat Rural District ( Persian: دهستان وحدت) is in the Central District of Fardis County, Alborz province, Iran. Its capital is Shahrak-e Vahdat. [3]
In August 2010, Karaj County, Nazarabad County, and Savojbolagh County were separated from Tehran province in the establishment of Alborz province. [4]
In July 2013, the city of Meshkin Dasht and other parts were separated from Karaj County in the establishment of Fardis County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Fardis as its capital. [3]
At the most recent census of 2016, the population of Vahdat Rural District was 3,617 in 1,157 households. Its only village was Sarhadabad, with 3,617 people. [2]
