As you protected the article, I am asking if you would reconsider the semi-protection at this point. I've looked over several edits by anons, and mostly I think they are good faith attempts to improve the article. Certainly there is disagreement over the inclusion/exclusion of various statements, but that battle is extending far beyond just unregistered editors. I think they are trying to improve the article, and as such I feel that silencing their efforts to do so is not beneficial. That being said, I would say the article is actually bordering on the need for full protection if the overall edit warring does not stop. Cheers, Reso lute 01:47, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for the extra lengths you went to on my RfA... I really wasn't expecting to do that well but I guess I must be doing something right. Cheers... (and now, rest) Catfish Jim & the soapdish 09:25, 5 May 2011 (UTC)

I have a question on movie spoilers...
Wikipedia articles about movies usually contain the entire plot, including spoilers. This leads some people to remove parts of the article to maintain a suspense. These are not exactly vandalism, but I am not happy with them either. I feel that Wikipedia is a knowledge portal and not a movie review site, and hence can contain spoilers.
Is there anything on Wikipedia about this? If not, (and if it is indeed a policy to include spoilers in the article) then can a page be created about this, to inform newcomers?
Thanks! rt ( talk) 14:23, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi Thehelpfulone/Archive/May 2011,

Hi, I just saw that you were deleting "generic filename" redirects like the one from File:Pic001.jpg to the placeholder/warning. Not that I'd care overly much, but I thought that type of protected redirect was a standard way of preventing unwanted uploads under these kinds of overly generic filenames. Do you know if there's a better/preferred way now? Cheers, – Fut.Perf. ☼ 16:30, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

Please explain your rv on Average frustrated chump. Have you even took second to consider the edit? The modified redirect makes much more sense. The term "AFC" was not coined by Neill Strauss, was not introduced by that book and is not even explained in that article. But the term "AFC" is one of the fundamental acronyms in the Seduction community and was coined by one of their members. The changed redirect makes sense. Please rv yourself. -- 92.224.230.62 ( talk) 17:37, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
See this diff, which only reverted part of the vandalism of the preceding editor. It's possible your partial intervention discouraged more thorough involvement from other bots.— Biosketch ( talk) 06:59, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Hello, a couple of weeks ago, you had deleted "KIND Movement" page. I am kindly requesting the un-deletion of the page since the deletion had taken place during heavy edits; the content on the page that time was not final. I promise to review the content immediately. Please have a look at the current home for the KIND Movement for your reference: http://www.kindsnacks.com/world
thank you!

Such as File:A Xenomorph.jpg which you deleted as an unused redirect even though the deletion log specifically addressed this issue. Pardon my tone, I'm just frustrated. [[User:JesseW/sig|JesseW, the juggling janitor]] ( talk) 19:25, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi! This is the last call for signing on for a Wikipedia Ambassador hooded sweatshirt (in case you missed the earlier message in one of the program newsletters about it). If you would like one, please email me with your name, mailing address, and (US) sweatshirt size. We have a limited number left, so it will be first-come, first-served. (If more than one size would work for you, note that as well.)
