Did you warn anyone about that before it was deleted? What was the process? Never seen that happen before, we have images on all the Girl Scout national associations. Please advise.-- Kintetsubuffalo ( talk) 15:10, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
I hope you don't mind but I restored User talk:Imjusssayn as it was deleted under CSD G7 even though it was a user talk page. I only noticed as I was going to leave them a message regarding reliable sources and saw that there had previously been a talk page that had been deleted. -- Jezebel's Ponyo bons mots 23:21, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
Hello! In "Dracula in popular culture" you mentioned copyright issue re http://atheistjewoftheus.blogspot.com/2014/05/hellhound-angelus-hecate-count-dracula.html as the reason why you removed my edits. Could you explain why and what copyright has to do with those edits? I mean I can't figure it out. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.147.17.75 ( talk) 13:40, 24 November 2016 (UTC)
Hello S. I just
removed this EL. As the series hasn't even aired yet I started wondering if having this link in the edit history is some kind of copyright problem. If not no worries. Thanks for your time.

Cross-posting from my talk in case you didn't get the ping. A user has themself added an OTRS tag to this file. I don't have OTRS permissions, so there's no way for me to look at the permission email. They mention your name on the file, so I was wondering if you have time to have a look at that ticket and make sure this image is okay to keep? It was previously deleted as copy vio. Thanks, — Diannaa 🍁 ( talk) 14:51, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
Would you please offer some advice about an issue I noticed at WP:BLPN ( here). It concerned claims regarding the subject of Badr Jafar ( | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views).
The immediate issue concerned the claim "He is of Iraqi Shia background". That was handled by an OTRS volunteer ( diff) in May and is fixed. There was a fair bit of pushback from an enthusiast who restored text, but they were eventually separated from the topic.
A representative of the subject says that the same OTRS ticket 2016050310022619 also stated that another claim in the article is incorrect (see Talk:Badr Jafar#Jafar Jafar). The claim currently reads:
Two references are given. One makes no mention of the subject and so is not relevant. The other has some by-the-way comments about who is the brother/son of whom. There is no mention of "uncle", but interpreting the brother/son claims allows "uncle" to be inferred. I would challenge the text purely on that basis, but would prefer to get a statement about the OTRS situation first. I asked about it here but got no response.
Would you mind checking whether OTRS ticket 2016050310022619 contains an assertion that Jafar Dhia Jafar is not the uncle of Badr Jafar. Do you have an opinion on whether the challenged text should be removed? Thanks. Johnuniq ( talk) 01:45, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
There are more than just the two "chapters" you've already deleted. They go up to chapter9. There are links on User:Sjwinter2. Would be good if you'd finish off the whole lot. Thanks Roger (Dodger67) ( talk) 17:09, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
Hi, I noticed that you deleted a picture I loaded onto Wikipedia: /info/en/?search=File:Jimmy_John%27s_Owner_Jimmy_John_Liautaud.jpg because there was a duplicate copy of this picture on Commons. Unfortunately, the picture on Commons has since been deleted as well, due to the fact that the Commons/OTRS people never saw a permission letter (at least not withing the 19 days since it was uploaded and subsequently take down) because the permission letter was sent to Wikipedia, and not Commons. I am hoping you will be able to re-upload that picture, and keep it up until the picture on Commons gets full permission, and then we can take down the picture from Wikipedia. A permission letter will be sent soon to Commons, but in the meantime it would be nice to have that picture back up on the article about Jimmy John's restaurants. I certainly appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you. Wineconnoisseur2016 ( talk) 09:12, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
I am requesting restoration of Draft:Massive_Bio,_Inc, which was deleted
We recently have been working to update the page as we do bring significant value to people and wanted to make sure it is inline with wikipedia rules.
Aprpeaciate it can be undeleted and that we can fix the page.

Hi Sphilbrick. Would you mind taking a look at this and see if any special needs to be done? This is similar to what we've discussed before at User talk:Sphilbrick/Archive 72#File:Logo of the Falcons of Mount Zawiya Brigade.png in that we have an editor uploading what they feel is an "updated version" of an exisitng (non-free) file, but which actually looks like a completely new file instead. As before, I can tag this with {{ Orphaned non-free revisions}}, but not sure if there's a better way to handle this. I posted a note about this at User talk:Richiekim#Updating image files, but still wondering if there's a way to discourage this kind of thing from happening before it happens. Maybe there's a way to add a "warning" to the Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard or the "Special:Upload file" that opens when an editor clicks on the "Upload a new version of this file" link on a file's page? -- Marchjuly ( talk) 21:36, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

Sphilbrick,
I would like to know specifically what I did wrong. I thought that through my numerous revisions of Intelligence Quotient article I wanted to add to the Self Test of Intelligence article with respect to citations I had adequately covered all authors and supporters. The Self Test article was missing a link to IQ, whereas every other word introduced into that article was further referenced on Wikipedia I thought it only fitting to add the IQ reference. Let me know how I can accomplish this appropriately.

It is getting exhausting for me at Fake news website. I think I may need to step away for a while. I fear that in a short period of time the whole page will get chopped up and merged into "yellow journalism", which is being used as a pejorative and epithet rather than small piece of contextual history, on the talk page. If you want to look over the page, that would be appreciated, and good luck. Sagecandor ( talk) 20:29, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
