Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Elverum.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Elverum.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:46, 26 October 2007 (UTC) reply

Warning vandals

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. — jacĸrм ( talk) 18:41, 30 October 2007 (UTC) reply

Thanks for catching the vandalism to my user page. I do have to support hat Jackrm said. That's the kind of thing that must get a template notice on the vandal's talk page. Doczilla 21:01, 3 November 2007 (UTC) reply
