Edward Kerling

Greetings! I have modified your edits on the Edward Kerling article that you have worked on to eliminate the duplicate citations that seemed to bother you. Wikipedia doesn't use duplicate citations in that manner. If you would examine my edits, you will see one method of handling duplicate citations and one of many methods on the presentation on citation and reference information at the bottom of an article. The use of the term "ref name=" lets you use the same reference information many times easily. You need to add cites for the references "Ex Parte Quirin". law.cornell.edu. and "National Socialist Saboteur Trial". loc.gov. as you probably intended using some method that won't produce the duplicates. My formatting is what I have always used and it works very well in most instances. A word of caution about working on pre-existing articles, if a citation and reference formatting has been established by a earlier editor you should use their formatting. I hope this has helped, if you have questions contact me on my talk page. Cuprum17 ( talk) 14:49, 26 October 2020 (UTC) reply

Hello and thank you for formatting those citations for me. I am still relatively new to the editing world and the article on Edward Kerling is the first article that I have created on my own. I was quite confused on why the reference list began to duplicate my inline citations as I had never seen that happen before. I added the remaining citations using your format (to be best of my knowledge) and they appear to be in working order. Thank you once again and feel free to offer any further tips and/or advice. Disambiguation link notification for October 8

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Saint Thorlak, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Icelandic. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, I'm Nightenbelle. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Caroline Ellison, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Nightenbelle ( talk) 18:39, 17 November 2022 (UTC) reply
