Hello. In what sense Stefan Banach was Ukrainian? Do you have any reliable sources to support your edits? Please consider reading WP:VER and WP:RS policies first. As for Banach, he spent some time of his life in Lviv, but at the time it was Poland, wasn't it. Otherwise, just Polish in terms of nationality definition. Well, born in Poland, to Polish parents, loyal to Polish state, strictly connected to the culture, language. None of this relates him to Ukraine, sorry. And, just in case, please note also that, none of Lvov school of mathematics members became Ukrainian when the Ukrainian Republic was established... Quite telling, isn't it? They were just Poles. Commercial use of Image:Alexander-smakula.jpg

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Alexander-smakula.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Alexander-smakula.jpg is an image licensed as " for non-commercial use only" or " used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles ( CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{ GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{ cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{ PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:NaUKMA sym.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:NaUKMA sym.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 21:52, 6 November 2007 (UTC) reply

Notice

The file File:NaUKMA seal.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot ( talk) 01:01, 14 November 2019 (UTC) reply

File source problem with File:NaUKMA 1840.JPG

Thank you for uploading File:NaUKMA 1840.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. plicit 02:15, 30 December 2023 (UTC) reply

A tag has been placed on Category:Images of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 02:24, 30 December 2023 (UTC) reply
