Really? I'm a bit surprised - Q5 says he is Bambifan, who seemed prolific in their disruption. My guy just seems to come back once a year to say something stupid and get blocked. For sheer disruptive incompetence, I'd say it's difficult to beat AtlusZ. I know a few LTA vandals who've likely made more edits than me, and I'm in the top 2500 editors by edit count. There was one who specialized in genre warring in the same articles for over six years (indefinite semi-protection was the only thing that stopped him), another that added Liam Neeson to every cartoon ever made (a couple of those got indefinitely semi-protected, too, I think), and one who was doing copy-paste moves for something like a year before he finally gave up (you can see a small snapshot of the drama at The Howling: New Moon Rising (  | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)). The older (but clearly similar) range was 2A02:C7D:564B:D300:*. The lesser used range 2A02:C7D:567A:6900:* appears to all be him. AtlasZachary is the sockmaster. An apparently younger editor who has been disruptively/incompetently editing for 2-3 years now. Focus is on video games and tv/film articles, typically making poorly sourced edits or using non-standard conventions in regards to who the publisher/developer of a video game, film or show was. He's had at least 10 usernames blocked and dozens of IPs, including a prior range block that Borean helped setup. Typically ignores any efforts to utilize talk page, and the exceptions are typically to use all caps in manners like "DONT EDIT MY PAGE STOP REVERTING ME" -- ferret ( talk) 17:30, 20 December 2016 (UTC)

Yeah, that about covers it. Tons and tons of objectively false edits to the creators/developers/publisher/distributors of media like video games, television, and movies, and any efforts to reach out to him to discuss/explain/reprimand is usually 95% silence, 5% random outburst not addressing anything said to him, so we've just resorted to the "block and revert" approach.

He first appeared under IPs, and does a vast majority of his damage through IPs, but the first name we found him editing under was AtlusZachary, so we usually refer to him as Zachary. (Additionally, a Youtube video by a Zachary something-or-other declares Sergecross73 "The Worst Wikipedia User Ever", something I've always assumed to be related to to all this, so that's another reason for the name.) I thought I was the worst Wikipedia user ever. ;-) The individual /64 range, which are almost always one end user, seem to be blocked already. But since he's hopping around pretty regularly, I've blocked 2a02:c7d:5600::/41 for two weeks. A rough comparison would be blocking a couple of groups of IP addresses available to a large corporation – sometimes they're on this subsection of the network, sometimes that one, and this rangeblock gets the whole section. There is this user named Inorap, I think this user is using different accounts to make disruptive edits to Wikipedia. Here's a example of these edits [1] [2]. These IPs goes around vandalized the album ratings template by adding star ratings while the source itself doesn't use a star ratings system. Recently this user has made this while the sources doesn't use stars. There are numbers of warnings from other editors about using WP:MOS, but this user ignored it. If you look at these articles, The Sun's Tirade and especially Cilvia Demo, these IP edits look very similar to Inorap's edits. Please take a look at these edits. Are you serious right now? This is my talk page, not a formal noticeboard. I enjoy volunteering my time to help others, but I'm not obligated to drop everything and look into every request right away. I haven't been particularly active today (or this past week), so I don't know why you expected instant results on this. There's also the fact that that I'm unfamiliar with this editor, so it's far more difficult to make an educated call on this one, compared to many if the others I deal with, where I've personally interacted with the editors for months on end.

I'm saying if you're unhappy with my speed of replying to you (especially if taking longer than an hour irritates you) use a noticeboard like WP:ANI or WP:SPI. Its up to you on how you proceed in this case in particular. Compared to others, I'd say I'd probably fall on the more "easier to convince" side of things when it comes to blocks and page protection. A new Nintendo Switch game has just been announced yesterday so it's not on the list yet as it seems. It's "Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove" which is basically a revamped version of the original Shovel Knight.

I just noticed that the total number of games in the breakdown is only 20 which does not match the said 22 confirmed games. On the Sonic Generations page, there is a list for all the stages featured in both versions of the game. I removed it because no other games (Mario 64, other Sonic games, etc) have columns that discuss this. It was added back, however, because there was apparently a discussion on the talk page about having the stage list. Yes, I was involved in that discussion to keep it. Yes, we do try to generally limit the long lists/charts in video game articles on Wikipedia ( WP:GAMECRUFT), but a little more leniency is given on the topic in situations like this, when the list is more crucial to fundamentally understanding the game. For example, we don't list of levels in Sonic 3, it means nothing to the reader - its just names. But if you list out the levels in Sonic Generations, the levels mean something, as in its describing which games are being taken to fundamentally create the concept of the game. It is a bit of a judgement call, and you're free to start up a new discussion on it if you, but we do use lists moreso in some situation, like in game compilations ( Sonic Mega Collection) or crossover games ( Tales of VS, Project X Zone, etc.) where it helps give the reader context on what they're trying to do in the game. Thank you for your work on the Lin Lee article, though I'd be remiss not to say a lot of the article is misinformed. A lot of the purported changes are not reflected in the final game and they are based on incorrect reports from before the game was released. Here are some points, in particular:

• The player's ability to equip her in more revealing outfits (the more risque outfits were altered, not restricted altogether.)
• The quote that the "few remaining qualities that both the Eastern and Western version of Lin share are her facial features and hairstyle" (Lin's appearance in everything save the aforementioned outfits is completely identical between the Eastern and Western versions, including her default outfit that is featured in the infobox.)

I am working on another change to the article right now. I'm aware you're far more interested in the discussion surrounding her censorship than the actual final game, but if I recall correctly Wikipedia must maintain neutrality in this aspect. -- DonnaclusX ( talk) 18:43, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi DonnaclusX. I'm just reporting on what sources said. That's the number one rule of Wikipedia. Feel free to tweak while still remaining faithful to the sources present, or adding what you can verify with new reliable sources. Perhaps some of the game reviews have more content on the final versions? I've played the game, but I just put Lin in a T-shirt and jeans for the whole game, so I don't personally know the limits of what could be done or what was restricted. I don't really even have any interest in the whole "video game censorship debate" honestly, I just put it in the article because it was the only way to get the character to meet Wikipedia's notability requirements. Its a major part of what sources discussed about her in her dedicated coverage.

Simply put, that article is one of his favorites. His socks keep coming back to it, so I added it to my watchlist. I don't believe it is a usable source on Wikipedia. There's two issues present.

1. Its probably not likely to meet our reliable source concept - it appears to be a fansite website about hacking. These websites run by enthusiasts/fans generally don't have any qualifications as journalist/writers, don't have editorial oversight or policies, etc.
2. There's additional issues in the capacity that the website directly links to hacked games, which range from "lega gray area" to "straight up illegal" in their substance, causing a WP:COPYVIO issue. Basically, you don't want to link to any websites hosting potentially illegal content. It's still okay to discuss, and use sources like Kotaku or IGN, because they don't even actually host or offer the content for download, they just talk about it. Yeah, there shouldn't be any legal issues with anything that is authorized, though I'd try to use Steam pages sparingly. Yeah, in a technical sense, Czar is right. It's so poorly enforced that it's no surprise you didn't know about it. I honestly forget sometimes myself, with how frequently I see it done both ways. Yeah, we're generally not bound by any sort of legal documentation when it comes to naming - across the entire website, we're supposed to adhere to WP:COMMONNAME. But it is confusing with how we handle subtitles - partially because its so poorly enforced, and partially because, much of the time, the subtitle is required due to following WP:PRECISION as well. I mean, for example, the article I'm working on at the moment - Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz - we need the subtitle in this instance, because otherwise there'd be a ton of Monkey Ball games with the same name and extraneous disambiguation added on. I fully support the article, and will continue to argue for its existence should it be nominated for merger/deletion, but that's just it - it seems like GA noms for articles like this seem to grab the attention of the editors obsessed with merging back fictional character articles, reigniting all those discussions again. I personally think it'd be better off as a B class article that exists over a GA-reviewed redirect. But that's just my two cents, which makes sense, since I don't really deal with the GA process much.
