Hi Relinus, if you are interested in expanding the article I found this on Google Books. I also found another book solely about him but I have no access to the content so I added a Further reading section and included it there. Also, based on the sources I updated the name of the magazine from New York Christian Advocate to Christian Advocate, for which there is a Wikipedia article. You might also considered adding something about him there as well. S0091 ( talk) 18:47, 15 October 2022 (UTC) reply

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited American Society of News Editors, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kenneth MacDonald. Autry Technology Center

Hey, noticed your interest in CareerTech in Oklahoma. Also noticed your run-in above with getting an article accepted. I’ve been trying to get a separate page for the Autry Technology Center, being the CareerTech school in Enid, but have run up against a reviewer who thinks it isn’t “notable” enough. You might want to check out the Autry page, then click on the "deletion discussion page" link, second line from the top, and—if you agree the page should stay—leave a comment recommending that it not be deleted. Thanks. TulGuy ( talk) 20:08, 22 April 2023 (UTC) reply

Hi TulGuy, I'd recommend checking out Wikipedia:GNG for guidelines on what constitutes a notable source. Also, I find archive.org is a good place to look for sources as there are many books there you can search through and read just by creating a free account. I hope that helps you look for more sources to prove notability. Unfortunately I don't have the time right now to help you find sources for this. Cheers. - Relinus ( talk) 20:28, 22 April 2023 (UTC) reply

Robert Hanham Collyer

Hi Relinus, On the basis that you not only created, but also made so many valuable, subsequent contributions to the article Robert Hanham Collyer, I am writing to let you know that, to the best of my ability, I have exhausted all of the (to me) possible avenues through which further additions/contributions can be made; and, from this, I am considering nominating the article, in its current form, for recognition as a GOOD ARTICLE.
While recognizing that, as a contributor, you are specifically excluded from examining/approving such an application, I was wondering whether you would be able to have a quick glance at the current version of the article, and let me know if you think there are (a) any problems, (b) any statements that need further justification, and/or (c) anything missing that, in your view, needs to be included.
(Just, by the way, for your interest, I have been completely unable to find even the slightest objective verification of the claim that, in those terms, he ever had anything to do with an invention, or a patent, or anything else connected with an "improvement to breech loading cannons"), Thanks Lindsay658 ( talk) 22:36, 27 January 2024 (UTC) reply

Thank you for improving the article so much, I've been thinking it might be something to eventually nominate as a Good Article as well. I'm pretty busy right now IRL but I will go through the article to improve it as much as I can.
As for the breech loading cannons, I got that from the Edgar Allan Poe Society online bio. The bio was helpful for starting out the article but might not be a totally reliable source in general and could easily have gotten things wrong, so I'll take the mention of cannons out. Actually if everything else is cited with better sources I might even delete that source entirely. Relinus ( talk) 02:37, 29 January 2024 (UTC) reply
Actually it looks like you found another source that mentions it. Maybe I'll just add a note or something... Relinus ( talk) 02:44, 29 January 2024 (UTC) reply
The "source" of the "claim" was Collyer himself. Lindsay658 ( talk) 04:22, 29 January 2024 (UTC) reply
