Hi! Thanks for the article, it's rare you get the chance to review a new article of that quality and scope! I added in a couple of links - for instance, the sixth Buddhist council has its own article with more detail (some of which might contribute to this article, much of which is clearly totally unnecessary), which might be useful for readers. I'd be careful of over-citing, typically you only need one or two citations to back up a statement, four gets a little excessive and the citation style you've chosen, while perfectly appropriate, can make it hard to chase down facts - you'd be better off (IMHO) using one citation for each assertion/fact in a paragraph rather than pack 'em all in at the end of the para. That's really important in an article like this, which deals with highly contentious issues and events and where you want to not only maintain NPOV but be seen to maintain it, too - and be able to defend it.
