I saw your message on the talk page contesting the deletion. You indicated you were unaware of the previous version. However, when you created the article you should have seen a big pink box that said, "A page with this title has previously been moved or deleted." That box should have had a link to the discussion that lead to the page being deleted. The page you created didn't really address the concerns expressed in the deletion discussion. The article on the parent pagent has also been deleted, and really we should have an article on that before we have articles on individual occurrences. A draft has been created on the parent pagent, at Draft:Miss Intercontinental pageant.
