Please refrain from making unhelpful edits to North-West Frontier Province, like this edit. Your edit has been reverted by 3 different editors, yet you seem unable to grasp the point that this is not a political issue. Midnight Madness ( talk) 22:25, 2 June 2009 (UTC) reply

Your edits to North-West Frontier Province

Please explain this edit, you say "Pashto is an accent of Pakhto, it is neither "the" language or another language. Only correct what you know please and not for the sake of it"

First of all Wikipedia has an article on Pashto language, Pakhto language is a redirect to it. Secondly you changed Pashtun to Pakhtun, Wikipedia tends to use the former spelling, there is an article called Pashtun people, both Pakhtun people and Pakhtun redirect to it. Also you changed Peshawar to Pekhawar, I have now created the later as a redirect to the former - this is the standard spelling employed by the government of Pakistan, by the international media and by Wikipedia.

Also you have again added the uncited line "although there are moves to formalise Pakhtunkhwa", please discuss this on the talk page. Pahari Sahib 14:27, 7 June 2009 (UTC) reply

3rd opinion for NWFP

Following your latest I have now asked for a 3rd opinion on the subject. You are welcome to comment at here. Secondly please don't accuse other editors of being ignorant, you keep introducing links that do not exist such as Pashto/Pakhto instead of linking to existing articles (e.g. Pashto language). Thirdly you keep adding "although there are moves to formalise Pakhtunkhwa" to the lead section but do not back it up.

Finally the article on Pakhtunkhwa says it means "The Land of the Pashtoons" which runs counter to your argument. The last point is fairly minor but the others need to be addressed. Pahari Sahib 20:54, 8 June 2009 (UTC) reply

The standard English spelling is Pashto. Do not change it again. Pakhto is a far less common spelling in English. carl bunderson (talk) (contributions) 21:15, 13 June 2009 (UTC) reply

I just removed material that you had added to the /* Ethnic groups */ section of the Afghanistan article as it was a copyright violation. That material was directly taken from About.com. See Talk:Afghanistan#Ethnic groups. Before you resume editing, please read and process the Wikipedia's policy on copyright at Wikipedia:Copyright violations and Wikipedia:Copyrights and take a look at Wikipedia's copyright FAQ. I especially call your attention to the sentence, "Never use materials that infringe the copyrights of others." -- Bejnar ( talk) 22:58, 15 June 2009 (UTC) reply

Hello. It seems that you are violating copy right rules. Besides that, your edit does not seem to be an improvement. People who are interested in Pashtuns can easily find information in the Pashtun people article. A more detailed description is also given in Demographics of Afghanistan.

Since you also seem to be new in Wikipedia, please take some time to read this page.

Thank you. Tajik ( talk) 21:47, 16 June 2009 (UTC) reply
