Thanks for bringing my edit error to my attention Magnolia677. I've tried again and think that I've corrected the incorrect information on the page: SMG was the name of the management company for TCF Center until October of 2019, when the name of the company became ASM Global.
It is true that I work for TCF Center, but assure you that this edit is no conflict of interest, only a contribution to the accuracy of the information on the page. My skill level may be low, but my intentions are honest.
Thanks again for your feedback. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MaryKlida ( talk • contribs) 20:27, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

Not sure why you keep removing info from the ZooTampa at Lowry Park article. The only change I see is that you removed the date that the zoo reopened after a renovation, but that date is mentioned in this source that's already at the end of that paragraph. Am I missing something? Zeng8r ( talk) 23:10, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
To address your critique of my addition on the Greenbelt Ottawa Wiki page, the acknowledgement of Algonquin territory is not biased, but just simply stating a fact of who the land belong to originally. To say that the land is formally occupied by France but not acknowledge the original Indigenous occupiers as well would be adding bias towards the colonizers, and contradicting your last statement that land acknowledgement is bias. If I were to add that the French occupied it, I must add as well who they colonized. As for the reference to the map, it is proof that Ottawa falls within Algonquin territory. I will be adding my statement back in and it would be appreciated if you did not delete it. Saraentwistle ( talk) 00:37, 15 February 2020 (UTC)

Hi Magnolia677, shortly after Jm198849 added a specific date (April 9) when the Zoo opened, I came across the edit last November and almost reverted. Although the editor has now been blocked indefinitely, Jm198849 was, in fact, correct in regard to that date. The Zoo opened on Easter Sunday 1950 ( About the Zoo), and in 1950, Easter Sunday fell on April 9 ( Easter 1950). But you were correct, there was no reliable source referencing that date. Regards. Hi Magnolia677!
I just happened to be looking at the Oak Ridge Wikipedia page, and I noticed that the names of the mayor and other officials had not been updated since the municipal elections in November, which I only realized because I work at a local community newspaper. So I fixed those and then (just for laughs) took a look at the Summerfield page, and the officials' names weren't even there. When I went to update them, I saw in the HTML that the mayor's name was listed as Mark Brown, which is at least two mayors out of date (Gail Dunham was the mayor before BJ Barnes was elected in November 2019), and fixing that was a bit more challenging because there were no council members listed, so I had to add them in.
There wasn't a reference in the Oak Ridge officials list, so it didn't occur to me to add it in there or for Summerfield. Most of the reference pages seem to give instructions for adding references to body copy content, but I managed to get a reference to the official Summerfield town website after the last council member's name.
I may go on and update Stokesdale's leaders as well, but I don't intend to do a lot of editing -- I just saw something that I knew was not current and couldn't let it go.

Greetings and thanks for your contributions. I am curious why you would delete content with a source that you felt was not clear as you did at De Soto, Mississippi. The sentence identified Desoto as one of four antebellum towns all on the river and/or along the railway. Even if the source didn't specify whether Desoto was one or both it did state the facts as I put them in the article. There is a tag for clarify but even when not clarified the statement provides information and context on Desoto ie:it is either on the river, the railway or both a relevant if not entirely concrete fact. It is not uncommon to have a statement such as Desoto is one of the Mississippi towns that grew along the waterways and railways of the state. This would be a valid statement if Desoto was on one or both.
My main concern is the deletion of a source that has content on the subject of the article. Questioned facts should be subjected to at least a cursory attempt at verification. Deleting relevant reliable sources is not in keeping with P&G. You've been around a while so you may have answers to these points I haven't thought of pointers to the appropriate policy would be appreciated. Best. MrBill3 ( talk) 17:35, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
Hello Magnolia677 - I was doing research on the Pasadena Playhouse, specifically the original "18 Actors" ensemble group that played there. Both my parents were in that group. I noticed other members listed (e.g. Morrie Ankrum, Victor Jory, Dana Andrews, etc. all friends of my parents) but not my parents: Don Porter and Peggy Converse (her stage name). My name is Don porter, Jr. They played at the Playhouse in the 40's and 50's and I have some wonderful memories of that time .... I was 6 yrs old or so when my Father was "arrested" on stage and I jumped from my seat in the audience and ran to the stage yelling, "You can't do that to my Daddy!" So, Magnolia677, I don't know how else to verify these changes I want to make but I would like to have their names listed. Perhaps you could help? Many thanks!
