No intent of vandalizing Wikipedia; I'd like to delete this account and create a new one but I think that might irreparably block me.

Request reason:

The page I created was a vandalism, which is not something anyone appreciates, so I apologize for it. I just want to update/add information on local history that I have knowledge on. I own several books with regards to my locale, so I believe I can add some new sourcing and information to wikipedia specific to my area.
