I'm sorry you were cited for removing the content, sometimes people are a little jumpy about unexplained deletions around here. I saw that you cited the source, which is good, and the timeline is factual information, but the reason that the bot tagged it as a copyright problem is because you simply copied the text. I have removed the rest of the content except for a short stub at the top which I rewrote some. Even when you cite your sources for facts you can't use their words, you have to take that information and write it in your own words. - Go to Wikimedia Commons
- On the left side of the page, click on the link that says "upload file"
- Once on the upload file page, click on the appropriate link
- Once you reach the upload page, click the browse button to select the image you have saved in your pictures (or other place) on your computer.
- After selecting the picture of your choice, click open and continue filling out the upload form.
Also if you click "preview" at the bottom of the page, the image itself will not be shown, it will just be the information - you have done nothing wrong. The only reason why I say this is because the first time I previewed an image it did this and I thought I had made a mistake.
