Hi Jayen, this is a long-overdue thank you for everything you do around here. There's so much that it's hard to know what to emphasize, but the two things I want to highlight are the work you've done for BLP subjects, and the care, understanding and long hours you've put into making this a better place for women editors and readers. You're one of the few who have truly made a difference. SlimVirgin (talk) 22:17, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
Thank you so much, Slim. x -- Andreas JN 466 00:38, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

Hi Jayen466, could you please write me an e-mail. I lost your e-mail address. Thanks in advance. Andries ( talk) 15:48, 1 October 2013 (UTC)

I already indicated on the NRM work group talk page that this article would definitely merit more attention, but I thought you in particular might be interested, and I also know that you are probably among the better content developers around in general. John Carter ( talk) 19:02, 6 October 2013 (UTC)

I would particularly welcome any input regarding what seem to me to be very serious concerns regarding the conduct of one or more editors (I don't want to name names or anything like that) on the talk page, and maybe some input there whether you believe those concerns might rise to the level of perhaps noticeboard or similar outside discussion. John Carter ( talk) 20:31, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
Hi John Carter, good to hear from you. I'll try to have a look, but am stretched pretty thin at the moment. Best, Andreas JN 466 17:14, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
FWIW, the unnamed editor I had had concerns about has since been blocked indefinitely, so I'm hoping at least those behavioral concerns won't be a factor anymore. John Carter ( talk) 17:18, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
Ah yes, just saw the AN/I thread. Andreas JN 466 17:20, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

Nice work

I read your blog post on Wikipediocracy about the Balkanization of Wikipedia, and I thought it was very well-done. Frankly, I think the Foundation should pay you to vet their potential new hires. (I'm not kidding.) Anyhow, nice work. MastCell  Talk 18:11, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

Yes, thanks. You're a gem. Please give some thought to delivering a talk at Wikimania. -- Anthonyhcole ( talk · contribs · email) 00:39, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

Y'know, at least to us provincial hicks from the central US, London, the site of the next wikimania, might not be that far from you, and in your case in particular the foundation might be willing to pony up some cash to help you get there. I've never been to one myself, and probably won't go, but I think in general having input from someone who is both a bit of an insider in wikipedia, given your long history of scarily good editing, and also one of our leading "outside" critics, you might well be among the more interesting and useful speakers at such a meeting. Just an idea, anyway. John Carter ( talk) 00:46, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

There is discussion on the talk page of the above article initiated by an editor who is a member of the group about changes to the article. I am in the process of adding some concerns of my own, specifically about how the content should be structured. Unfortunately, this is kind of a vague field according to existing policies and guidelines, at least so far as I understand them, and I would be very interested to see additional input specifically on what content to put in which article relating to medium/channeling topics.
