I actually did link to the page the image was linked from. The link was embedded in the text "If you need a press/conference headshot, try this [...]", although I didn't have the link. I should have formatted it like this, like it was on the site: "If you need a press/conference headshot, try this [...]"

Hi. I saw where you deleted Image:Crusade intro.jpg after I had previously declined the speedy. The purpose of G7 is so that if a user makes a mistake, they can rectify that mistake. (The wording originally had "accidentally" in there somewhere.) Other than personal (user space) images, asking for an image to be deleted months after uploading it is not something that can be done with G7. Matthew is on something of a crusade (bad pun) against Babylon 5 + Crusade images (see Special:DeletedContributions/Matthew) and while I am generally supportive of getting rid of almost all fair use images, it needs to be done properly - nominate it at WP:IFD, have a disputed fair use discussion, or orphan it + tag it with {{ orfud}} and see if anyone has a serious objection. -- B ( talk) 14:27, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Green School, Kul-Kul Campus deletion...
I notice this got removed. By what process? If it was prodded I might have tried to rescue it. I know it was fairly low quality and have no arguments with its advertisement style, but I've seen a whole lot less notable schools kept.

I see that you recently deleted the Canad Inns article because it had become nothing more than an add for the company. Recently, someone who seems to be from the company has been making edits to the article and rewriting it in a very promotional sort of way. However, I don't think the earlier version of the article (like here) is overly promotional. Spamming other people's email addresses is a serious offense, and I don't think that being upset over it means that someone needs to "grow up". I have no proof, but I am almost positive it's him. And by the way, he used rollback to revert one of my legitimate contributions and while I was blocked sent me two very immature emails calling my contribs "vandalism", so regardless of the "abuse" I dealt him on WR, it wasn't by any means one-sided. I don't think being angry about something I said on Wikipedia review justifies telling someone they need to "grow up" because they are angry that their inbox has been spammed.-- Urban Rose 16:54, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

i see that just recently you removed another image from the wiki page, and that following some of the history of this young page, a number of other images, etc.. have already been removed.
the warning is clearly visible at the top of the page regarding 'cleanup' and other such matters, but i don't actually understand what that entails. could you please point out what needs to be done in order to assure that this page can be maintained?
there is a similar page for another one of the Camp Massad (Manitoba), with much similar content, and their page was created at least a year back and does not seem to have encountered the initial difficulties that the Camp Massad (Montreal) page is facing.

Hi, you deleted 40K Radio, ten minutes after it was restored by Djsasso. I had promised to make it better, yet I have not had time to do so. I added a Hangon template, and said on the forum that I wou make it better very soon. I would appreciate it if you gave me a few minutes to make my project more relevant. Also it is relevnt as it is showing the variety of the 40K fanbase, depth of the hobby, and commitment of the fans. I would appreciate it if you would remove the Speedy Deletion template, and change it to a PROD if you feel nescessary. I noticed you have deleted the image I had uploaded and placed on the Wikipedia article on Saints Row 2. I am sorry if it did not follow your fair-use rationale or whatever, but I am not sure how to do all that kind of stuff. Hi, could you review this speedy of yours please? I had originally posted a {{ pui}} for that image as well, but withdrawn it following the (newbie) editor's explanation that he had been Boyd's publicist (cf. relevant discussion on editor's talk page).
I've since followed up on his talk page, and requested him to reiterate the background information he had given us at the image itself. But he won't be able to do that if the image has been speedied. :) I'll retag it if he doesn't respond within a reasonable amount of time. (incidentally, this also applies to his other uploads). You just speedy deleted several images I tagged that were uploaded by this user. This user is continuously uploading copyrighted images. Some of these same pictures were previously deleted. Thanks for removing the speedy deletion tag from the above. Just a minor note: In the United States, we use parentheses (or brackets as you call them on the other side of the Atlantic) on churches and historic sites to avoid implying that they are cities or towns, etc. Yes, there are cities such as Washington Courthouse, Ohio and Falls Church, Virginia. clariosophic ( talk) 15:37, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

- I am not really sure what you're asking, you're going to need to be more specific. Simply permission for Wikipedia to use is not enough- they must be released under a free license or into the public domain, so that others may resuse or modify them, even for commercial purposes. Re: Jimmy Boyd images. I was Jimmy's publicist. During those years papparazi did not exist. It was the publicists job to take photos of the artists and place them in publications. My daughter same age as Jimmy of course was a big fan of his, like most kids were, he was an enormous star at the time. She made a scrap book for him as a gift. She discovered the Wikipedia article asking for a photo..she called me, I called Jimmy. His son had kept the scrap book fortunatly, since over the nearly 60 years, most photos of the time have been lost. His son also provided the 2007 shot he took of Jimmy in Spain. The purpose of use stated in the fair use rationale is " Graphic displays part of the range of product produced by Natural Balance", which could be fulfilled with a free picture of the pet food itself instead of the copyrighted bags. - The image was deleted as it appeared to be an album cover or publicity photo. It seemed unlikely that a very old publicity photo/album cover was released under a free license. Hi, I'm a little confused about why, exactly, two photos were deleted from this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deirdre_Hanna. In both cases the photographers had given explicit permission for the image to be used on the internet, on the understanding that they were not being used to generate revenue. I apologize for only ensuring that only one of the images -- that by Babak -- was credited; the other is by Smith & Clayton, and in the event that the photos can be reinstated on the page I will make sure that Smith & Clayton are credited (they were quite sanguine when a national magazine neglected to run the credit when the same image was used as a contributor's photo, but I do like to acknowledge authorship -- I do get the copyright thing). It wasn't me who made the page, Pmeditor helped me because he is far better at technical things than am I; I apologize if we neglected to properly indicate that the photos had been used with permission. I'd appreciate any feedback/guidance that you can offer. Also, I do definitely have this page o my watch list, but did not receive notification when the photos were deleted. Can you please tell me how I can get my wiki page called Master camouflage out of redirection or can some one tell me how to find this redirected page. I was told that I had to recreate with a new headding but the new headding got redirected. The page redirected and the page deleted are: Master camouflage (redirected to crypsis) and Phyliidae and Extatosoma tiaratum was deleted, causing me to loose all the info on that page all together.

Hi. I saw where you deleted Image:Crusade intro.jpg after I had previously declined the speedy. The purpose of G7 is so that if a user makes a mistake, they can rectify that mistake. (The wording originally had "accidentally" in there somewhere.) Other than personal (user space) images, asking for an image to be deleted months after uploading it is not something that can be done with G7. Matthew is on something of a crusade (bad pun) against Babylon 5 + Crusade images (see Special:DeletedContributions/Matthew) and while I am generally supportive of getting rid of almost all fair use images, it needs to be done properly - nominate it at WP:IFD, have a disputed fair use discussion, or orphan it + tag it with {{ orfud}} and see if anyone has a serious objection. -- B ( talk) 14:27, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

I notice this got removed. By what process? If it was prodded I might have tried to rescue it. I know it was fairly low quality and have no arguments with its advertisement style, but I've seen a whole lot less notable schools kept.

Spamming other people's email addresses is a serious offense, and I don't think that being upset over it means that someone needs to "grow up". I have no proof, but I am almost positive it's him. And by the way, he used rollback to revert one of my legitimate contributions and while I was blocked sent me two very immature emails calling my contribs "vandalism", so regardless of the "abuse" I dealt him on WR, it wasn't by any means one-sided. Hi, you deleted 40K Radio, ten minutes after it was restored by Djsasso. I had promised to make it better, yet I have not had time to do so. I added a Hangon template, and said on the forum that I wou make it better very soon. I would appreciate it if you gave me a few minutes to make my project more relevant. Also it is relevnt as it is showing the variety of the 40K fanbase, depth of the hobby, and commitment of the fans. You just speedy deleted several images I tagged that were uploaded by this user. This user is continuously uploading copyrighted images. Some of these same pictures were previously deleted. - DONE, I've sent e-mail to OTRS, hope to get approval promptly, i don't think is necessary to delete image, though you may do so if you wish so i can have a fresh start.
- I know, all this it's really confusing, sometimes i feel like giving up, I trully think up-loader should be legally responsible for any copyright infringements and should be fined somehow, like any virtual piratery!

what is the problem? I own the images, I've given Wikipedidia permission to use them. Jimmy Boyd's son contributed the Jimmy Boyd in Spain image, and Wikipedia has his permission to use any and all of the images. And why is my user name camaflage, and sign-in blocked?? - I am not really sure what you're asking, you're going to need to be more specific. Simply permission for Wikipedia to use is not enough- they must be released under a free license or into the public domain, so that others may resuse or modify them, even for commercial purposes. Re: Jimmy Boyd images. I was Jimmy's publicist. During those years papparazi did not exist. It was the publicists job to take photos of the artists and place them in publications. My daughter same age as Jimmy of course was a big fan of his, like most kids were, he was an enormous star at the time. She made a scrap book for him as a gift. She discovered the Wikipedia article asking for a photo..she called me, I called Jimmy. His son had kept the scrap book fortunatly, since over the nearly 60 years, most photos of the time have been lost. His son also provided the 2007 shot he took of Jimmy in Spain. J Milburn, you removed the replaceable fair use tag from Image:Natural Balance logo 2.jpg with the edit summary Looks fine to me. The purpose of use stated in the fair use rationale is " Graphic displays part of the range of product produced by Natural Balance", which could be fulfilled with a free picture of the pet food itself instead of the copyrighted bags. - Fair use images have to meet WP:NFCC, this image fails criteria 1 (No free equivalent) and criteria 8 (Significance) and therefore should be deleted regardless of (or lack of) consensus on a talk page. - The image was deleted as it appeared to be an album cover or publicity photo. It seemed unlikely that a very old publicity photo/album cover was released under a free license. Hi, I'm a little confused about why, exactly, two photos were deleted from this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deirdre_Hanna. In both cases the photographers had given explicit permission for the image to be used on the internet, on the understanding that they were not being used to generate revenue. I apologize for only ensuring that only one of the images -- that by Babak -- was credited; the other is by Smith & Clayton, and in the event that the photos can be reinstated on the page I will make sure that Smith & Clayton are credited (they were quite sanguine when a national magazine neglected to run the credit when the same image was used as a contributor's photo, but I do like to acknowledge authorship -- I do get the copyright thing). It wasn't me who made the page, Pmeditor helped me because he is far better at technical things than am I; I apologize if we neglected to properly indicate that the photos had been used with permission. I'd appreciate any feedback/guidance that you can offer. Also, I do definitely have this page o my watch list, but did not receive notification when the photos were deleted. Can you please tell me how I can get my wiki page called Master camouflage out of redirection or can some one tell me how to find this redirected page. I was told that I had to recreate with a new headding but the new headding got redirected. The page redirected and the page deleted are: Master camouflage (redirected to crypsis) and Phyliidae and Extatosoma tiaratum was deleted, causing me to loose all the info on that page all together.
