The article Rachelle Hruska has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Questionably notable person. Despite the references mentioning her, I am not sure any of them do much to support the article. Article is peppered with peacock terms, and was filled with inline links to her website which I have now removed. Had they remained, article would have been very close to G11 blatant advertising.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Syrthiss ( talk) 18:11, 4 January 2011 (UTC) reply

Category see alsos -- improper linking

Islander, I invite you to look at Template:See also for guidance on use of the template. For Usage it says "{See also} is used to create hatnotes to point to a small number of other, related, titles at the top of article sections according to Wikipedia:Layout. [Emphasis added.]" In this edit (and others) [1] you are adding a template which simply links to the category which already contains the names listed in the section. This is not a link to "other, related, titles" in that it simply duplicates the listing of names (those names already in the category), is not a related title (it is, in fact, the same list), and, indeed, is not a link to the title of an article. These additions (which do not follow WP policy) are subject to reversion. Thank you, and thank you for your contributions.-- S. Rich ( talk) 16:11, 25 April 2011 (UTC) reply

redlinked categories

Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Dana Makoto Sabraw, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. Islander, in this example you have put a redlinked category into the article. This is not in conformance with category guidelines. -- S. Rich ( talk) 16:39, 25 April 2011 (UTC) reply

I am sure there is a policy about using the other tag for disambiguation. However, the situation for this name in Kentucky is quite unusual. Four different men, all politicians, three In one family and the fourth the namesake of the eldest of the other three. I think the potential for a reader ignoring "other john brown" as not likely the one they are looking or, because they are all known as John Y Brown in some way or another.

I was confused by all the John Y's which is why I make the extra clarification. In good faith I am reverting your edit, and if you choose to revert back, I will bring it up to someone with experience with historical ambiguity of names. K3vin ( talk) 07:12, 8 May 2011 (UTC) reply

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
