Hi, and welcome to the Novels WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to fiction books often referred to as "Novels".
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The
announcement and open task box is updated quite regularly. You can watch it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{
WikiProject_Novels_announcements}} there.
While you are updating your userpage, don't forget our userbox {{ Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Outreach/User WPNOVELS}}. - The project has a monthly newsletter; which will be delivered to you now that you are listed as a project member.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Starting some new articles? Our article structure guidelines / template outlines some things to include.

Just to let you know: recently I fixed the "Category:WikiProject Music members" page (by changing the associated user box) so users no longer all showed up, unsorted, under "asterisk" instead of the first letter of their name. The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
