Help me!

Please help me with...I got practice editing a number of articles, especially related to my own field of expertise. Now I'm ready to submit a new article, namely a short biographical sketch of Giovanni Cavagna. He is a notable physiologist whose work is extensively cited in several current articles of Wikipedia. My draft is ready in the format edit source. How can I submit it? Thanks for help From5Apr20 ( talk) 09:00, 5 July 2020 (UTC) reply

I see no such draft in your edit history, so I assume you have not yet saved it(note that "publish changes" simply means "save changes"). If you have never created a brand new article before, you should use Articles for Creation to submit what you wrote for a review, before it is formally placed in the encyclopedia(as opposed to directly creating a new article, where it will be treated harshly once it appears in the encyclopedia). 331dot ( talk) 09:05, 5 July 2020 (UTC) reply

From5Apr20 ( talk) 15:19, 5 July 2020 (UTC) Thank you User:331dot ! I now included a draft of a new article in my sandbox. Please take a look and let me know if and how I can contribute it to Wikipedia. Notice that I have no conflict of interest with the person sketched in the biographical profile (he is neither a relative of mine nor my mentor or anything like that) . reply

If you were to submit the draft right now, I don't think it would be accepted, as you only have two sources for the article, and neither is an independent reliable source with significant coverage of this person. In order to merit a Wikipedia article, a subject must have significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources that have chosen on their own to write about the subject.(no press releases, interviews, anything related to the subject) That others cite this person's work is not in and of itself an indicator of notability, it depends on what sources say about him and his work. Any article must do more than simply tell what the person did- it must summarize what the sources with significant coverage say about them. 331dot ( talk) 17:18, 5 July 2020 (UTC) reply
