EWEA ( talk) 16:00, 8 June 2011 (UTC) Just posted a first draft of an article on Global Wind Day. Hope I'm doing everything right. I have declared a COI on the page I created, and reposted it below. All comments welcome. I want to declare a COI - I work for EWEA, the European Wind Energy Association. EWEA are one of the organisers of Global Wind Day, the subject of a Wikipedia article I want to write - see proposed text of article below. All comments welcome! Also, If anyone would like to help, I am not sure how to change the name of this page to Global Wind Day. Should I just start again with a new one? reply

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. However, I noticed that your username (EWEA) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it give the impression you're editing on behalf of an organisation (EWEA), whereas your username should only represent you as an individual. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 10:57, 18 June 2011 (UTC) reply

EWEA ( talk) 08:23, 20 June 2011 (UTC) Thanks for the welcome and pointing out the problem Silvio. I have made a request with the bureaucrats, hopefully they will let me change my username to a personal one. Thanks for your help. Tom (Tro2000) reply

Your request for a rename was accepted. Again, welcome! If you need anything, please feel free to ping me on my talk page! Salvio Let's talk about it! 16:55, 20 June 2011 (UTC) reply

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:GWD small.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:GWD small.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG ( talk) 11:13, 28 June 2011 (UTC) EWEA ( talk) Hi Sfan00. It turns out there is a copyright issue with that image. As soon as I find out what the situation is with it I will replace the image, but you can go ahead and delete it now if you like - I do not seem to be able to see how to delete it myself, although I have taken it off the Global Wind Day page. Thanks! reply

Did you forget to indicate the copyright status of this image?

You may wish to read Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags#For_image_creators , or ask what tags are appropriate.
