- The infoboxes/templates composed of links to "nationalist.org" are not appropriate. Wikipedia articles are not here to provide "site maps" to the resources on other websites. - In case user:Crosstar doesn't reply promptly I can fill you in a bit. After creating a number of articles that user decided that he did not like Wikipedia and tried to blank all of his contributions. The articles were reverted, but the images that he uploaed are another matter. You've seen the notice that he has added when he uploaded -"Permission is granted to copy and distribute verbatim copies of this licensed image, but changing it is not allowed." In some cases he also explicitly added the "C.C. ND 1.0" license. [2] That license and his notices are not acceptable for Wikipedia images. All images marked with that license will be deleted sooner or later. (You'll have to check with others about the schedule and procedure). That's some background, I don't know if it helps. Hi Crosstar, I uploaded a copy of the crosstar image and added it to the Nationalist Movement article. Because this image is a logo and is being used purely for informational purposes, I have a right to use this image (without permission) under U.S. copyright law, specifically the fair use doctrine. Please be aware that legal threats are not allowed on Wikipedia, per official policy. If you continue to make legal threats, you may be banned from Wikipedia. The images in question have been removed from the appropriate articles pending resolution of copyright status by Wikipedia adminstrators. There is no need to make threats or try to intimidate people. I think you may find it more constructive to engage in civil dialog with other editors through the discussion pages. We are all aware of your copyright claim. I have personally never disputed such a claim. I have claimed in return, however, that the use of these images is nevertheless appropiate and legal under fair use guidelines. The jurisprudence for using trademarked logos and similar images in journalistic or academic commentary is well established. According to current jurisprudence, trademarks may be used without permission by a nonowner nominatively to refer to an actual trademarked product, organization, or corporation for commentary or criticism. No one here is trying to make money off of your logo or trying to confuse the public as to what it is associated with. Is there a reason that you believe that the Crosstar's use here does not meet the criteria for fair use? Endlessly repeating your copyright claims will not win you any allies.
