Hello! I saw your revert on an edit by 102.0.4.210. I reverted 2 more edits by the user on the same page. You seem to have put a thing on the user's talk page. Can you instruct me on policies I have to follow while reverting Wikipedia edits? I'm very new here and don't know what to do. Thanks! Feeglgeef ( talk) 19:25, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
I meant to start the draft on Teresa Kowalska in sandbox but I think I drafted it in the main space instead. I saw your comment that you placed a speedy deletion tag and the contest link went to blank article page. I have completed the article now, but I don't see the tag. Could you let me know what I need to do to contest the deletion? Thank you! Gab Brasseur ( talk) â Preceding undated comment added 22:18, 24 December 2023 (UTC)

re:

I appreciate the work of the anti-vandalism groups, but it's not appreciated to have a new work that has taken several hours to create haphazardly given a derogatory mark which may lead to deletion. By haphazardly, I mean, that you didn't discuss the deficiencies on the talk page and/or the creator's talk page. "this topic may not meet the Wikipedia general notability guidelines", is ambiguous. What did you specifically see, or not see that led you to immediately tag the page? Especially, since it is a page that is a translation of a page created from another language.
There are more than 46 sources on this page, which you suggested as the cause in the boilerplate tag. Since the page was created so recently, it is doubtful that you had an opportunity to screen all of them for their independence, reliability, or nature. I know that at least one of the sources I screened was from a news source, and not the government, so I'm suspect that you didn't review them.
I'm going to mention this on the talk page for the article, and remove the tag without further discussion on the page's deficiencies eximo ( talk) 19:40, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi CoconutOctopus, thanks for your note. As part of my own NPP, I had moved the article "NEXT GIRLZ" to Draft:Next Girlz. No problem with any deletions you may be proposing. Regards, Bastun ÄÄĄĂĄá¸Î˛ĂĄĹâŽĹĹ! 15:34, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
Good morning,
I started to create my first page on Wikipedia at the request of an association, which sent me its texts, without knowing that they were a carbon copy of their website.
I received a speedy deletion on this page.
I agreed with the association team to modify the content to comply with Wikipedia rules. In the meantime, I have removed the contentious content.
Is it possible to remove the speedy deletion notice so that I can resume editing the page with the new content?
I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Hi, @ CoconutOctopus, you asked for the deletion of my Article for Curtiss Pope ands its notability. Can you find where this does not fit Wikipedia's Notability guidelines? The subject is the creator and investor in multiple companies that have been reported on in reputable publications (that are cited and referenced in the page) as well as the creator of a foundational technology products that are part of the American retail and business landscape. I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit the English Wikipedia through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions. Inappropriate usage of this user right may result in revocation. I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. PhilKnight ( talk) 18:47, 8 February 2024 (UTC) PhilKnight ( talk) 18:47, 8 February 2024 (UTC)

Hello CoconutOctopus,
Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.
Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.
Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.
It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!
2023 Awards
Onel5969 won the 2023 cup with 17,761 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 50/day. There was one Platinum Award (10,000+ reviews), 2 Gold Awards (5000+ reviews), 6 Silver (2000+), 8 Bronze (1000+), 30 Iron (360+) and 70 more for the 100+ barnstar. Hey man im josh led on redirect reviews by clearing 36,175 of them. For the full details, see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone for their efforts in reviewing!
WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers deployed the rewritten NewPagesFeed in October, and then gave the NewPagesFeed a slight visual facelift in November. This concludes most major work to Special:NewPagesFeed, and most major work by the WMF Moderator Tools team, who wrapped up their major work on PageTriage in October. The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers will continue small work on PageTriage as time permits.
Recruitment: A couple of the coordinators have been inviting editors to become reviewers, via mass-messages to their talk pages. If you know someone who you'd think would make a good reviewer, then a personal invitation to them would be great. Additionally, if there are Wikiprojects that you are active on, then you can add a post there asking participants to join NPP. Please be careful not to double invite folks that have already been invited.
Reviewing tip: Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages within their most familiar subjects can use the regularly updated NPP Browser tool.
