Hello. I've removed the ethnic group infobox from this article. List of cities

A plain list that isn't formatted into a table, while not ideal, is still preferable to a table that's linking to the wrong things. While we'd certainly like every article to be a marvel of graphic design, it's more important for it to be accurate than pretty. It's not anybody else's responsibility to have already formatted the article the way you'd like it to be — but if and when you decide to do it, it is your responsibility to make sure that you're actually linking to the correct topics. Whether you were done working on the population column or not, you were linking to the wrong topics in the city name and MRC name columns — and whether you like it or not, that had to be repaired. Bearcat ( talk) 03:51, 4 June 2010 (UTC) reply

There's always been a bit of a debate about what to include in the list — but the consensus position has always been that we need to include anything that the government of Quebec designates as ville, and not apply some kind of artificial standard of our own to decide which villes are really "cities" and which ones are really "towns". The idea that Barkmere counts as a city is kind of silly, but as long as the government of Quebec calls it a ville it's not really up to Wikipedia to decide that it's something else instead... Thank you for uploading File:Laval Université 1.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. A tag has been placed on Category:WikiProject New France requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Notice

The article Maurice Paquin has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{ prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — S Marshall  T/ C 22:53, 9 September 2020 (UTC) reply

Sonia del Rio moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Sonia del Rio, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. ( ?) In addition, there appears to be a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed ( verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Wikipedia:WikiProject Kingdom of France (section) and Wikipedia:WikiProject New France (section)

Hi, could you explain to me the meaning of the pages Wikipedia:WikiProject Kingdom of France (section) and Wikipedia:WikiProject New France (section)? Are they supposed to be subpages of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Kingdom of France and Wikipedia:WikiProject New France? If that's the case, they should re named to something like Wikipedia:WikiProject Kingdom of France/section. If you created them as some kind of a test, or if they are not actually useful, I think they should be deleted. User<Svick>. Talk() ; 14:20, 14 January 2012 (UTC) reply

File source problem with File:Laval Université 1.jpg

Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Тимофей ЛееСуда. 16:55, 31 January 2012 (UTC) reply

All you need to do is edit the image's page and add that you took the photograph and then sign your name. Its as simple as that. Let me know when you do, and I will remove the tag. Thanks, -- Тимофей ЛееСуда. 01:43, 9 February 2012 (UTC) reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Compagnies Franches de la Marine, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Placentia ( check to confirm |  fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File copyright problem with File:Laval Université 1.jpg

When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 16:57, 14 March 2022 (UTC) reply
