File source problem with File:J21disc1.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:J21disc1.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:45, 23 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — SpaceFlight89 12:45, 23 August 2009 (UTC) reply

Thank you for uploading File:J21disc1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Hot Europa

A tag has been placed on Hot Europa, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{ hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. "Macedonia" edits

Please do not edit-war over the terminology used to refer to Macedonia. Wikipedia editors have developed a binding consensus guideline on how to refer to the country, outlined at WP:NCMAC. This is based on the policy of using the most common name generally used in English to refer a country, and/or the name that a country chooses to use for itself, no matter if these names are politically acceptable to third parties (see the naming-conflict guideline). The Arbitration Committee has decided that all edits affecting the Macedonia naming issue are subject to a one-revert restriction: no editor is allowed to undo another editor's action more than once within 24 hours. In cases covered by the binding guideline, editors restoring the consensus version are not subject to this restriction. Fut.Perf. 11:38, 10 September 2011 (UTC) reply

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{ OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{ non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Luxembourgish Grand-Ducal Dynasty series of €2 Commemorative Coins

Hi ArgGeo, on 11 February 2012 you edited this chapter to the €2CC webpage. At that time you named the coins of 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2012 as being part of that series. On 25 October 2012 another user, Fmantakos, added the 2009 and 2011 coins to the list of this series. My question: Besides this publication [1] do you have any other information, that the mentioned coins are part of that Grand-Ducal Dynasty series? File permission problem with File:FraNVE2euro TYE 2012.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:FraNVE2euro TYE 2012.jpg, which you've sourced to http://worldcoinnews.blogspot.com/search/label/france. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

Complete set of €2CCs images

Hi ArgGeo, I read your discussion with Hammersoft about copyright concerning €2CCs.

If you like to look at their images: Switch to language version "Deutsch" - German Wikipedia allows their publication.

Enjoy the detour! -- Gerd.Seyffert ( talk) 15:07, 10 June 2013 (UTC) reply

Malta

Hi ArgGeo, the 2013 Malta coin set, including the new €2 commemorative coin, is due to be edited, possibly still this month. It will have a volume of 35,000 and shows the Dutch mint mark. See picture of German ebay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Original-KMS-Malta-2013-incl-2-Euro-Sondermunze-mit-Stecherzeichen-/121083452109?pt=M%C3%BCnzen_Medaillen&hash=item1c3122dacd The rest of the Maltese CCs (507,500) will not have mint marks and will follow in about three months time. -- Gerd.Seyffert ( talk) 20:26, 20 June 2013 (UTC) reply

There is a discussion on German Wikipedia on this topic. I would be grateful if you could offer some more information. -- Gerd.Seyffert ( talk) 21:06, 28 June 2013 (UTC) reply

Is there an explanation why the coins of 2007, 2008 and 2010 are not considered to be part of the series ? -- Gerd.Seyffert ( talk) 09:38, 29 June 2013 (UTC) reply
All Luxemburgish commemorative coins since 2004 belong to the series Grand-Ducal Dynasty - see http://abload.de/img/eumails0wsei.png -- Gerd.Seyffert ( talk) 17:41, 4 July 2013 (UTC) reply
